Will this handle work with generic extension poles that have threads like a paint roller pole?

Well, yes and no. The squeegee did but the scrubber did not. I drilled and bolted the scrubber to my pole and that works, but you are better off with two poles anyway. I have two poles. A good one and a cheap wooden one. They are good quality scrubber and squeegee so it is worth some trouble to get a working set up.

will this screw on to a standard brrron handle or paint pole?

This may have been true for years ago, but I can assure you the one I got two weeks ago cannot be screwed in to a normal extension handle. I am in search of this proprietary extension

Is this two pieces, or one piece, where you have to put the microfiber sleeve over the squeegee?

There are two (2) hand tools, the squeegee and a microfiber swab. The latter is used to swipe the soap solution onto the glass surface and the squeegee to draw down the solution. It helps to have a clean towel to dab up any water.

Does this work with the Ettore Pole?

I do not have an Ettore Pole but if the Siga window cleaning combo works with my extension pole that is threaded
