I have two lights that look like this in a kitchen. The existing lights are florescent and the ballast went bad in one. I replaced the entire light with this one and the match was perfect. Installation was easy and I like the option of the three different light intensities.

This fixture was very easy to install. Easier and lighter than the fluorescent light it replaced. Color choice was important. Lamp is so bright, I'm sorry I didn't get a dimmer. It puts out more light than I need at that location.

I bought two of these fixtures to bring the washrooms at my church up to present life safety code. (Requires an emergency fixture in washrooms so people can see to get out during a power failure.) The fixture looks a lot better than a "bug eye" emergency fixture, especially in a small room.Amazon does not make clear that this is the emergency version of the ASD-LFMDR-12D1532-NK fixture by the same manufacturer. (This is more an Amazon problem than a sellers problem. Amazon's search feature sucks)This fixture does have a 4.25" height, the non-emergency fixture is only 3.13" The battery is a standard e-light battery, readily available at the big box store.I'm a master electrician, and when I read the negative reviews on this fixture, I realized the writers did not know how to install the fixture. The battery pack must be wired in ahead of the switch. (Think of it as a receptacle and a light in the same room.... you want the receptacle to be on all the time, and the light controlled by the switch. The battery pack gets wired in like the receptacle, it only loses power during a power failure, not every time you turn off the light) If you aren't sure how to wire it, consult an electrician.

We installed a larger one in our master bath a few months ago, and like it so much we have decided to put one in our other bathrooms and halls. It has 3 setting that you can choose from, so you can decide how bright you want it.Great customer service also. We ordered 2, when they arrived 1 was broke. Had a replacement within 24 hours.

I bought this light to replace my kitchen light. I like this style so much that i actually have this light in several rooms of my house, though all of those other fixtures were purchased from Lowes. And surprisingly this light matches the other very well.For the most part this light overall is not bad for the value, it was about $20-$30 less than buying it from Lowes so i took a chance.I’m happy there is a “day light” setting because i think it’s a nice clean brightness, and the size is nice for my space. But what i am disappointed about with this light is the globe is made of plastic instead of glass (all of the other lights that are exactly like this one was bought from Lowes) and unfortunately the plastic is yellowish in color and does not match my other lights. I either missed that important detail in the description or it wasn’t mentioned. Well, we Installed the light anyway because we needed a light in the kitchen (the other light burned out) but believe me, i World have returned the light if i had opened the box earlier and noticed the globe being plastic and discolored.

I had two 23 inch plus fluorescent ceiling lights using circline bulbs which I had to replace since the ballast interacted with my new ZOOZ 76 ZWAVE smart switch in a four-way configuration - it reported status incorrect to the home automation system (hubitat). It took a while to figure this out!.These new 18 inch LED lights have selectable color - I used the daylight selection (see installed in laundry room) and they put out more light than the old 24 inch fluorescent lights (one with measurements) even though they are 18 inch.The lights are very easy to put up (with a little help to hold the rims). I like them so much I ordered two more of the same size in bronze finish for my basement.

This light fixture was easy to install, had choices of Kelvin-scale lighting to pick from (I prefer warm lighting in the 3000 Kelvin range because it is more natural lighting, and that was what I selected, though it can be set to 4000 and 5000 Kelvin if you like the whiter LED lighting), and allowed you to select motion sensor sensitivity with easy-to-read-and-use instructions and a diagram for the configuration of settings). AND.... it's using only 21 watts of energy. Wow!Not to mention, with the brushed nickel, it looks GREAT!If I need another ceiling fixture, this is what I would get.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!
