This is one of the best shaving creams I've used, except that the odour is so strong and so unpleasant that I could only use it once before throwing it away.This is obviously subjective, but it's not a pleasant smell and I sadly won't be using it again, despite how good it feels on my face.

This shaving creme is by far the best I've ever used. It provides an incredibly smooth shave AND the product lasts for many months. I'm retired and I shave every other day because I have that luxury. I think the directions say to use a small amount maybe a large pea sized amount. I use a shaving brush and that just isn't enough so I use more than that. The tube I bought 9 months ago is almost out of creme. I bought another tube last November because I thought I was running low. I still haven't opened it yet. The package says it should last 3 months. Even if you shave every day you should easily get 4-6 months out of it. It will also extend the use of your razor blades as well because it lubricates so well. By far the best shaving product I have ever used.Since other users have complaints about difficulties using the product I would strongly recommend using a shaving brush. This increases water content significantly and makes applying the creme so much easier. Peraonally I would never apply with just your fingers to spread it. It's just too thick. More moisture there is the better the shave.

...over all this is a great product line and I use the "original" all the time. I bought this thinking the scent would be a great change. Well it isn't...basically no scent at all for double the price. Would NOT recommend or buy again.

I generally don’t do well with foamy or soapy shave “Creams”. They don’t really lubricate the skin effectively.This shave cream is the real deal. Don’t expect a rich lather; no, this is a slick lubricating cream that coats every whisker and lets the razor glide smoothly over your face.And it doesn’t smell medicinal or cologne-y. Just a nice subtle masculine sandalwood that doesn’t linger all day.And bonus: a little goes a long way.Will buy again!
