LAEGENDARY RC Excavator - Remote Control Excavator - Electric, Hobby-Grade Construction Vehicles - 1:14 Scale, Black - Red

This RC excavator Is exactly what it says it is. It is absolutely full function and it functions well. Keep in mind this is not a commercially hobby grade excavator! This unit will not dig hard ground or undisturbed ground! It is designed to be used with soft soil or sand or some other material that is not compacted. There are many versions of this machine that look the same, and I have tried several of them. This one seems to have the tightest clutches and better build quality than some of the other ones that I have tried. As far as customer service goes, you will not find a better Company to address your issue with. In full transparency, ma interaction with their customer service did take a few correspondence to get everyone on the right page but when we did the results were as good as can be expected which were top notch. I currently own 4 of these and I am pleased with all of them. To be quite honest I'm not sure which age I would recommend if buying for a child. I don't have small children But I selected seven years of age as a starting point only because I had to pick something. You know your child. If they seem to be mechanically inclined and are good with video game style controllers and hand eye coordination then the age would vary based on their skill set. That's the best I can do as far as that sort of recommendation. It is not hard to operate by any means And employees clutches that should prevent any damage due to over exertion Of the digging arm. However there does not seem to be any clutches on the tracks so be aware. the tracks are powered by individual electric motors that do have some power so if put into a situation that calls it to be bound up, I'm sure there is a possibility of damage which is completely no fault of the machine.

This thing has surprised me. It works well right out of the box, seems to be decently heavy duty, and has more functionality than I expected it to. Everything moves independently and has enough power to pick up the various little boulders I 3d printed for it. If you’re a grown adult R/C hobbiest obviously it’s not going to tick your boxes but you do get at least 75 dollars of value out of it. It’ll be tough to box it all back up and get it wrapped for my nephews birthday. Again like I said, pleasantly surprised

Seems well made, carried two bricks for traction no problem. A couple of issues. The front of the truck is quite heavy, I assume most of the electronics are in the cab. The back is rather light when not loaded, little traction, hence the bricks. The front bumper area has very little ground clearance. My lawn is a little lumpy and the front got hung up often. If you're gonna work in a rough construction site, you might want to consider a quarry type truck. Another review mentioned the steering trim under the front is fake. True, but the two buttons on the lower right of the controller will adjust the steering trim. Turning radius is pretty good. A nice truck if you are working in a fairly smooth area. Like that all 4 rear wheels are powered. Have not yet tried it on loose soil.

This was given as a gift for my nephew. So far the remote worked well, it seems to be made of heavier material which is good for a rough boy. I can recommend this product. It is a bit bigger than most remote control vehicles, so that is nice too.

First off, this is a cool RC..But it is definitely not 1/14th scale. My Tamiya Semi is 1/14. As you can see in the picture; this product is either 1/16th or smaller.Although I am disappointed that it is not as it claims to be, I will be keeping it because I like it.These are not for small kids, as they take a little finesse to use without stripping the gears ect. No true end stops so you can over extend and mess it up if your not careful.Fun little machine

For its size and functions, you can't beat the price. The only flaw is that since its all gear driven, if you overload any of the motors, it will make a clicking noise. The fix to that is don't overload it. Overall, it's a great.

This is basically a hunia 1573 rc dump trump for $46 . Heck of deal for sure. This also comes with 2 batteries that last a while which is huge improvement over the hunia 1573.

I like the colors and the details they put into it. it's not designed to dig up the ground. It will scoop loose dirt and sand. It's definitely a nice piece to add to the collection. I would purchase again.
