A Mixed Bag
When Spence is not carrying on at great length about how brilliant he is, and how successful he is in obtaining record-breaking monetary judgments for his clients, it’s a fine book. But far too much of it is a highly detailed, egotistical recitation of his own accomplishments. When Spence stops puffing out his chest and explains the case of Karen Silkwood, the narrative becomes compelling.

Great Book
This is a great book. I read it many years ago, which was a copy that belonged to a friend. Since the book is no longer being published, I decided to purchase a copy. Despite it being used, it is in good condition. I recommend others purchase this book.

Happy customer
This book is just what I expected from Gerry Spence - I am very happy with this purchase and with the information in the book. There are just not many men like Gerry left, and I'm glad he's still here.

A Deep Analysis of Several High Profile Cases
Very illuminating memoir of several high profile cases of Mr. Spence's career.Varied in their subject matter and gripping in their unfolding and culmination.A classic addition to his fascinating body of work.

Three Stars
Pretty beat up. But it is an old book that is out of print.
