CLIF BUILDERS - Protein Bars - Cookies and Cream - 20g Protein (2.4 Ounce, 24 Count) (Now Gluten Free)

They don't taste like protein to me; they are chewy but also crunchy so it's not like eating a block of protein, they have a bit of a sugary coating to make them taste even better, and they're about 250 calories a piece. Only downside is I can find them locally (sometimes) for $1.50 apiece or so; online they're closer to $3 apiece if you buy in bulk.

I had no appetite because of my liver disease but I could eat these protein bars. Life saver.

These taste great but I don’t buy these very often just because of the sugar in them.

I bought two boxes of these accidentally- I thought they were bars I had purchased previously and enjoyed, but upon taking the first bite, I realized my mistake. They take so much effort to bite into that I feared breaking a tooth. The taste is bland and they have the consistency of hardened concrete. I suspect there was a production error, I can't believe this is how they're actually supposed to taste and feel. Horrible. One star because zero isn't an option.

If I'm going to cheat with a sugar packed protein bar I wish it was the last version, same with the vanilla almond. They use to be the best tasting bars on market, but someone thought they should change something and now I might buy a box once a year instead of once a week.

These cliff bars are disgusting! I’m not sure if they are old, rotten or what, but they went directly into the trash can. They just crumbled into a million pieces when you bite into them!
