Claridge's: The Cookbook

I AM OVER THE MOON, THIS IS A BEAUTIFULL BOOK, LOADS OF RECIPES & BEAUTIFULLY PRESENTED, WOULD MAKE A REALLY LOVELY PRESENT FOR ANYONE INTO COOKING & THE PRICE WAS REALLY GOOD ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SEE SOME OF THE OTHERS ON THE MARKET, WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND, ARRIVED VERY QUICKLY & WELL PACKAGED, ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO DUST COVER TO THE BOOK IT IS PRETTY MUCH WIPE CLEAN BUT I THINK I WILL PUT A PLASTIC COVER ON MINE ESPECIALLY WHEN MY GRAND CHILDREN ARE COOKING, (MIGHT NOT LET THEM NEAR IT). THANK YOU SO MUCH

Amazing!A fantastic look into the world of glamour and hard work that is the Claridge's kitchen.It's so refreshing to see a cookbook that's different from the rest!You get taken through the recipes step by step. Highly recommended and I shall be buying some more books as Christmas presents!

Great collectible and beautiful imagery but tough recipes. Amazing to learn new knowledge from. If you're a passionate cook who uses complex ingredients, this is a must-have. It's a huge book though, so i'm sure even a simpleton like me will be able to have a go at a few.

Bought as a gift, the recipient was delighted. She's a keen and adept cook/baker but even *she* might be daunted by some of these recipes! A book to read and savour, perhaps, rather than to cook from; the background stories and traditions of the Claridge's kitchen are absolutely fascinating...

The book is well presented beautifully photographed and nicely bound with very up market recipes, and is possibly more of a coffee table book for some people although a good number are easy enough. Some items needed might be hard to source in many areas. It is definitely a good read for those who love food and there is some other information on history and background as well.
