This is honestly The best shadowhunter generation ever.With so many books already set in the world, we don’t get to see something New-New, but reading shadowhunters is always going to be a home-like feeling for me. Despite the same world building and repetitive tropes, there is always a unique perspective in the books and no character is the same as the other.It was a befitting sequel to Chain of gold, just added more to the anticipation of where all this is going and how will all this end.If you are a person who loves shadowhunters, the book will blow your mind (and you know why this book is special)

The book arrived in pristine condition and I was mind blown on seeing how gorgeous the cover actually looks. I really loved Chain of Gold and was anticipating Chain of Iron for a year and it's finally here. I am 150 pages in and I can feel that this one is going to be better than the first book! I would highly recommend The Last Hours trilogy to anyone who love fantasy , but do read The Infernal Devices before reading TLH. You're definitely in for an emotional treat!

Preordered this one and it arrived on the day specified in recyclable packing. Great print. Include BONUS CHAPTER at end featuring Jem and Magnus!!! It also has black silhouette character art scattered through the book.Beautiful cover!The only damage I could see was slight ink patches on a page.(Note: the plastic book cover in the pictures was done by me after i bought it. No cover is supplied. )

One of the best books I have ever read. Although I experienced a fair share of all the emotions in this onez I would still not take it back, for I was able to immerse myself into a world of wonder. However, the vendor could have shipped it in a slightly better condition while having using bubble wrap to secure the book.

The book didn't live up to my expectations. The plot wasn't used to it's full potential and the book would have been less than 400 pages, if cassie didn't create all the unnecessary drama; (!!spoilers!!) Cassie shouldn't have prolonged the whole thing between James and Grace till the end of the book. I didn't particularly like the antagonists either: Grace is alright......I guess. But Tatiana,Beilal and Lilith are disappointing, I couldn't even take them seriously. The necromancy and the whole Paladin plotlines are interesting. Looking forward to see what cassie's gonna do with those. Personally, I think the 'Paladin' plotline is the one that connects TLH with TWP.Now, the Characters:One thing that bothered me is that, the series have soo many "main" characters but only 5 of them are relevant to plot? James,Cordelia, Lucie, Grace and Jesse. You can remove the rest of the characters and nothing changes? Like...Matthew is a main character but didn't have anything to do with the plot and was used only for occasional comic relief and a little drama. Alastair and Thomas deserved more page time and Arianna became too toxic (I was soo annoyed with Anna), Now I hate that ship (I've been rooting for them since GOTSM). Despite being main characters, James and Cordelia are the least interesting ones in the series.Overall, I'm not impressed with how Cassie handled TLH series. It's like she was excited to create all these characters and their plots in the beginning and lost interest halfway through.

The back cover of the book, had a few scratches due to which the writing wasn't clear.

I liked This book better that Chain of Gold. But still is not amazing. For me it’s lack of action. In last 100 pages there is some action. I feel like this trilogy (Yes,I know there is going to be one more book) is the weakest. At least for me. Yet,I will read last book when it comes

My new favorite. this trilogy is everything i loved about the infernal devices meets everything i loved about the dark artifices and is honestly the most intruiging and in depth and well thojught out CC book to date. I desperately wish she were turning this into a 7 book series like TMI, but alas it is another great trilogy. Also so happy to see Will and Tessa again in a time where thy are free and happy and thriving. Cordiela Carstairs is an incredble Character and icon.
