My son loves these pencils but they are very hard to write with. When the point needs to be sharpened we had trouble. Our automatic sharpener did not work and the manual was hard.

These pecils are very cool looking but they’re pretty tricky to write with. I got them for my classroom treasure box and my students really like them but they’re tricky to write with. Most of my students don’t use them to write with. They’re very fun though! I’ve found if you tie them in a knot they’re easier to write with. You can sharpen them in an electric pencil sharpener too. They would certainly make a good goodie bag gift!

As a parent of 10 year old twins one of which is on the spectrum it is hard to find supplies that suit both of them. This item surprised me. It suits my son and even makes his writing more legible. The pencils are different enough so that they promote his socialization because it illicits commentary and conversation and are sensorially pleasing to him. His twin sister just thinks they are cool. The coolness factor is big with 10 year olds! I find its novelty promotes more writing in my "soon to be" fifth graders. Thank you.... Will recommend to other moms and will definitely buy more.

These were a fun gift for the kids. They are a bit tough to write with though. Due to the flexibility, they don't stand up correctly so it can be a bit tricky to write with. I let the little one do his homework at home with these but I won't send them to school because I don't want to interfere with his work.

Great service. But these are very difficult to sharpen in pencil sharpener. Had to use knife to whittle, which was not easy either. We tried three different pencil sharpeners, but no success.

Pencils bend easy, sharpen well. Erasers fall off a little too easy for my kid who is using them to draw. Otherwise they're a hit.

I got these for my students for Christmas, they loved them. Do not put them in the class pencil sharpener though, I got them all little hand sharpeners to go with them.

Used this for Valentines day instead of candy and it was very a hit. (not so much for the teacher!). We were able to sharpen them with a hand sharpener and even our electric sharpener with no trouble. They are hard to write with, but for kids, it was more about the novelty of it rather than being able to use them. The eraser on the end did fall off a few of them, but we had extras.
