When i first opened the package, i noticed one of them had a sticker wrapped around it that said used, after washing them, i used it to get our neighbors dog to quit barking, this led it to bark even more since the whistle is very audible and not ultrasonic. The whistle also come undone if you place it on your keychain. I've pulled it out of my pockets and it's about to fall off and does this everytime i place it in my pocket no matter how tight i twist it.

Could not get it to work ultrasonic

First off, these work fine, but they are not silent nor are they ultrasonic. It seems to be impossible to change the frequency high enough to be silent be considered "ultrasonic". At this point, I have our youngest puppy trained to any high chirp from this whistle as well as the ultrasonic peep from an alternative working whistle. The low stars are for the quality of the whistle, not whether my dogs respond.The takeaway from other reviews stating that they don't work points to a misunderstanding on the part of the buyer: as with just about anything you need to TEACH your dog to respond to the whistle. Just blowing on an ultrasonic whistle and expecting to silence a barking dog is ludicrous.

I’ve bought this product twice, the first time they just kept unscrewing and I lost 2, I needed more and I figured I would buy again and just keep screwing them right every time I used them. I use them when hiking with my dogs. Other day, reached in pocket for whistle and what is pictured is what came out. Don’t know where other part is, must have come out when getting my glove. Will not buy this unreliable product again.

Good value for the product. They unscrew easily.
