KHOMO GEAR Log Rack Cover Protector-8 Feet, Beige

Nice thick water resistant material that fit easily on my firewood racks. Tie down fasteners on each bottom corner to secure it in place***BUT THE MATERIAL DETERIORATES OVER A VERY SHORT TIME*** I purchased 2 of these covers (see pic). At first they looked great and felt heavy duty BUT that didn't last. I purchased these in June 2021 and in June 2022 the material started DETERIORATING. Seems one 1 year of weather exposure and they just fall apart (the material is coming apart). I live in Maryland and we do get some some inclement weather (snow, etc.).*****So the bottom line for these covers is they DO NOT last long. I figure I'll have to replace them very soon*****

Easy to install and easy to get into. Coming up on end of 1st winter season and appears to be holding up well. The only flaw the design is that plastic fasteners at bottom get covered in a deep snow so they become weakened with freeze and thaw cycle. Perhaps if fasteners could somehow be placed inside and up higher would improve longevity. The fasteners aren't used for access to inside so could be put inside out of weather.

Just received one of these covers, but haven't yet used it. Will be putting it in place sometime in the near future. It will be replacing a similar cover from a different supplier that is on it's 3rd year and is starting to deteriorate due to sun, cold, and winter weather. This Khomo cover should probably last as long as the old one I have been using, but I like that this Khomo cover will open fully across the front of the rack providing batter access to the firewood. My old cover only fully opened on half the rack and partially on the other end making it a bit more of a hassle getting at the wood.I will probably update this review after I have used this new cover later this year.

Initially we really liked the wood rack cover as it looked very nice and matched some of our other outdoor covers. However, it has recently ripped in several spots. We have only had this cover for 11 months, not even a full year! This is even more frustrating because we don't touch the cover very often. We have a second wood rack in our garage that we pull our wood from so we only touch the wood rack cover when we need to refill our garage supply-probably four to five times a year. Also, the beige color gets very dirty over time. If you want something that can handle the outside elements, choose a different cover.

This log rack cover is well designed to fit over a stack of cut wood placed on a log rack. It is easy to access and appears sturdy. I have only had this cover for several months so cannot speak for durability. I am hoping it will last several years. I have yet to have one that lasted longer.
