True Color

This version of the True Colors album is much better than the original album release in the 1980's, because it's remastered. The sound is clearer and louder than the original version. I was looking up if there was a remastered True Colors album as there was with She's So Unusual, and this digital version was the only one that popped up. They should've also released the actual CD remastered version as well for a 35th anniversary edition, but since most people tend to download the digital versions now, this will suffice. I love that it also has the additional song, "Heading for the Moon", which I remember being played on the radio in the 80's, but it was never available on any album. It came out during the True Colors days, so it's great to see that's been put on this edition. It's another great Cyndi Lauper song. This is the True Colors album edition to get!

The sound quality of this album is excellent, as if it's being released as a new record in 2018. Anyway, this has always been one of my favorite Cyndi Lauper albums despite what critics or other listeners might say negatively about it. I've always been open to artists being able to experiment with their music styles and directions with every album release; so I know I wasn't expecting "She's So Unusual, Part 2" but a totally different style.

I judge a record based on how it sounds to my ears. And for me, my ears are satisfied.

Fantastic album. Amazing sound. MFSL has done it again. This is a must have 80's album. The cd just can't seem to hit the dynamic range I'm able to hear out of this remastered vinyl LP. The OG lp, tape, and cd pressings just do not do Laupers voice and bands percussion justice. This True Colors MFSL vinyl LP is the the definitive audiophile listening experience as for 8/6/15. A must have! Cost is well worth it. You get what you pay for, is a term that really means something here. Spend the few extra smd get the deal.
