Bottles arrived packaged in a special box with foam dividers. I have used one bottle, the metal roller ball has fallen out but it is easy to put back in. This might be a concern around young children or pets.

going to use it to mix different oils, hope I don't hurt myself, lol.

These are a nice size. The bottles are large enough to not lose and easy to carry with you. They do NOT leak and a good amount of product is applied to skin when using this product

Just what I wanted.

The following is a revision of my original review, which was written after my initially trying the product. Shortly after writing this previously positive review, I began having serious problems with these bottles and I have now changed my mind entirely about them. I waited to change the review until I contacted the seller to see if this was just a bad batch and if the situation could be remedied. The seller did respond to my initial email and promise that the issue would be addressed by someone else within the company, but about 3 weeks have passed with no further response, and I am forced to re- review these bottles based on the batch I have. I was looking for amber glass roller ball bottles (with metal, not plastic, roller balls), and I wanted someting basic, not fancy for these ones (I have some fancy ones for "special" blends). The first thing I noticed with these is that they were packed in a wonderful way, in a foam box of sorts, that kept the bottles from banging against each other in transit. I will definitely be keeping this box for storing my bottles, as I always need more roller ball storage. As for the bottles themselves, they are about what you would expect, and are comparable to other brands. In my initial use of a couple of bottles, they seemed to work okay. (There wasn't much to say about it, really.) I should mention one thing though, that I was not crazy about even at the outset, which was that they come with the rollers already in the bottles, so they have to be removed prior to filling. They tell you how to remove it, using the cap to basically pry it out, but I did not personally do this, so I can't say how well that would work. (It sounded a little "rough" to me, and I was afraid of warping the plastic and making oil leak.) Fortunately for me, I have a swiss key to help remove the tops, and I used that. I found later that it was not necessary, at least with some of the bottles as they could easily (too easily) be removed by hand. It was not long after starting to use these (and well within the first blend added to the bottle, that the roller ball fell out while the bottle was in use. I spilled some of my most expensive oils as a result. I still have yet to try each bottle, but another ball fell out of a different bottle just this evening. They seem to loosen rapidly with use. Oil pools around the plastic housing for the roller ball and this oil sort of leaks out all over you, rather than gliding. The issue is getting worse (rapidly) over time. Mere tipping them over, can lead to oil leaks on furniture. These came with plastic pipettes, which I confess I may or may not use in the future, as I already use glass droppers for my projects, but they seem like they'd do the job (though probably only for a single use and they seem pretty flimsy.) In the end I absolutely cannot recommend them based on this initial experience. In the end, I will return to using the pricier, but prettier and (most importantly) better functioning ones from Rivertree Life. I'm disappointed.I received this item at a reduced cost in exchange for an honest review.
