A Twist of the Wrist: The Motorcycle Road Racers Handbook

the book actually is trying to enlarge the envelope of safety for the street-user so that he/she becomes a better and safer moto
The book has been written for racers, but actually is also speaking about the requirements of street-users who experience much slower speeds than racers yet require the skills, reflexes and mental preparation required in racing. By describing what goes on and what is involved in motorcycle racing and preparing the reader for that, the book actually is trying to enlarge the envelope of safety for the street-user so that he/she becomes a better and safer motorcyclist. The quality of the printing left a little to be desired, but the packing was good and the shipment prompt.Despite its title, and the small matter of the quality of printing, I think every motorcyclist should invest in buying - and reading - this book.

One of the best books on understanding the physics of motorcycling. I hope that I can attend a few sessions at California SBS one day

This book is like marmite...
..either you love it or you hate it. It is good if you want some ideas how to ride on track "properly" and surely will teach you a thing or two, sadly the language is unbearable. The style is overly patronizing and sometimes you wonder what the author was smoking when he wrote it.Buy it if you want to learn new things about track riding but do not expect miracles.

Should be the law!
I've been on various track days, IAM, bike safe and all sorts, and of course the official bike test. They have all been useful but this book teaches you things like survival reactions and how to properly steer a motorcycle. Honestly, if you read this book, you will decrease the chances of getting hurt while riding a motorcycle - and the best bit - you'll become a better rider!

Being a keen reader of motorcycle media for over thirty years, most if not all of the info in this book has worked it`s way to me over that time. If you Don`t wAnt to wait that long to gain from Mr Codes knowledge then this book is a must, and even if you only ride on the road then this book is still relevant.

You get to learn the basics about how a motorcycle works.
I like the format and the fact that is approachable to non technical people.
