Just as described
Good thickness of material for my project, easy to sew. I am making zippered bags for presents.

lovely material
The materials and patterns were lovely though haven't used them as they are for a present. However I wanted them for Furoshiki and think the should be patterned on both sides to get the right effect. Also I think the material would be better slightly less thick for tying parcels.

Not as advertised
This is described as a quilting fabric bundle, which is why I bought it.So far, only three of the six fabrics appear to be usable for quilting. The darker fabrics held their colour well and didn't shrink (too much, though they do shrink a bit, as to be expected) in the wash. The navy ones (the 'big pattern' pieces, navy and white in the photos) are a very loose weave - far too loose for using with the better fabrics that they came with. And the colour was very fugitive. They started out a vibrant navy, looked great, you're already planning how to use them - but once you pre-wash them the colours are extremely washed out and faded, and the loose weave shows itself for what it is (The weave is so loose that they certainly wouldn't make safe face masks, if that were what you wanted them for). These ran heavily and repeatedly in two mild washes, so I can only imagine what would happen if you did actually sew them into a quilt that you would wash later (baby quilt, for example) - blue dye running into all the other pieces after all your work - ouch. Sewing them to light or white fabrics is probably not advisable, so you're somewhat limited in options. Fine if you're putting them next to darks. It's a pity, because they looked great on Amazon. As a final note, the iron does not do the heavier metallics any favours, but then, the metallics don't do the iron any favours, either, so I guess they're even. The heavy metallics stick to the sole plate even on a cotton setting. Looks great but needs a lower setting than you would hope for a cotton/quilting fabric that is typically going to be ironed on a hot setting. Too late to return, but I won't buy these again.

The best
I have two pair of jeans now that I haven’t worn in years but couldn’t get rid of because of great fit. My awesome wife used these to repair and now people want to buy them. Not for sale 😀

Not the texture you would expect
Pretty patterns, but not the true furoshiki type fabric.
