I can’t wait to learn the truth. It’s enough to keep me reading faster and faster. Just when you think you may have figured it out… Another bomb! All the mysteries are killing me.

Need More
If you are reading this series then by now you can’t turn the pages fast enough yet you don’t want the story to end yet you need answers and you need them now. So much happened in this book and once you get close to the truth or a bit of happiness the rug is pulled out from you and more mystery is added. I’m so hooked and in love w the Steel brothers and you will be too.

Makes you melt in your panties!
This series is great and full of sex appeal and lovely characters. I love her as an author, her books are great. They are sexy, tell a good story and you will end of staying late to try and finish the book (which might not be a good thing). You feel like you are part of the their story. A great read!

Gotta know what happens next!!
I am so in love with this author's story-telling! I try to avoid books that continue the story over several books in a series. I understand Ms. Hardt has to make a living, but why so many books to write this story? However, I must say that I was so hooked that I kept purchasing book after book, until my brother (who is also my financial advisor) told me that I could either continue with the series or get groceries - my choice. It's not easy living on Social Security and disability insurance checks. Anyway, although Talon's story (which started this series) is one that makes your skin crawl, I felt compelled to keep going. I am so eager to find if the bad guys get what's coming to them, the reason why the crime was buried for 25 years, and whether or not all the Steel brothers can move on and finally find peace and love. I've got 4 or 5 books to purchase yet, and I'm advising any friend or family member who will listen that if they want to know what to get me for my birthday next month, please help me finish the Steel brothers story! I had originally seen the first book of this series advertised as what people read after 50 Shades of Grey, and I can understand why. Ms. Hardt has a fantastic way with words, and the story is so compelling. I was addicted in no time at all. I will be checking out more of her books once I've finished this series. Also, I have to say that I'm a member of the unofficial grammar/spelling police. Nothing ruins a book for me more than finding things that should have been caught by a proofreader, which I'm finding more and more in books lately, but I did not have to bite my tongue while reading the Steel brothers books so far. I am so grateful for the professionalism of Ms. Hardt's team.

Better than Talon's story but still a mystery to solve.
This is the oldest brothers story - Jonah. It is a continuation of the first 3 books (Talon's story) and by the end of book 6 the mystery of what happened to Talon is still not solved. Jonah's series is a bit more exciting than Talon's. Much more happens. Again with Jonah's story, the author drags out the story in 3 books which really only amounts to 1 book but the author makes more money this way by leaving cliff hangers so you have to buy another book. Very uncool. Jonah is much more likeable than Talon but his lady love - Melanie - is completely unlikeable. Again like Talon's story, the characters latch on to an idea obsessively and just keep repeating it throughout the story until you are just annoyed. Melanie's angst is a bit far fetched. She's a complete bore. Jonah's character needed a much more interesting lady love. While Jonah is likeable, his obsession over not being there for Talon is a bit unrealistic & begins to get annoying but I guess he has to have some baggage because all of these characters have to have some serious flaw. I can see how the story is progressing - 1 part of the mystery of what happened to Talon is solved by the end of each brothers story so I guess one more part will be solved by the end of the youngest brothers story and then there is the sister. The author seemed to be setting up the sisters story by the end of the 6th book so readers be prepared to read many more books before the mystery that starts with the first book is finally solved. I'll finish out this Steel brother series but I won't be readying any more of this author's books for being so annoying about dragging this story out!

Irritated
Why keep dragging the book out? Just tell us who did this instead of having people purchase book after book.

Great and suspenseful book! Can't wait for the next one!
This is the 4th book in the Steel Brothers series and it is very addictive. I can't wait for the next book to come out and the next and the next, etc.The Steel brothers and sister and Jade continue to look for clues about Talon's abduction over 25 years ago and who the abductors are and why their parents never pursue bringing the abductors to justice. The first 3 books focused on Talon and Jade's romance and Talon's tortured past. The story and mystery continues in Melt and how Jonah is working through his guilt about not being able to protect his brother from being abducted and abused. Jonah was drilled into his head by his father that since he was the oldest, he was responsible and had to take care of his siblings.Jonah goes and sees Dr. Melanie Carmichael, a therapist that Talon has been going to to work on his past issues, to try and work through his guilt about Talon. There is a physical attraction between Jonah and Dr. Melanie and they get physical with each other but neither one is unsure of what the other wants out of the "relationship".As Jonah and his siblings continue to try and figure out who Talon's capturors were, there are dangers lurking for the Steel brothers. Dr. Carmichael is also dealing with guilt about a past patient and in trying to work through her issues, gets into some dangers. This series is great to read and keeps you wanting more! You want to help figure out the mystery and hope that everyone gets what they deserve! Can't wait for the next book to come out!

Cliff Hanger, 21 Book Series!!
Got the 1-4 book bundle on BookBub and the two Stars are because I fell in love with the characters and the story. Unfortunately, I didn't look ahead at other books in the series until I was almost finished book 4. It was only then that I saw there were 19 books and 20-21 were available for pre-order. Checking the description of the remaining books, it appears that the mystery continues with a cliff hanger in every book. It's not evident if it will conclude or be revealed in book 21. It was great to get books 1-4 free, however, books 5-21 on Amazon are $9.99 Canadian plus tax, [except books 18 & 19 at $9.71 - $9.81 respectively]. Unfortunately no more bundles available at this time. Not to mention that all books are under 300 pages [except for two which are just over 300]. At 9.99 CDN, I expect at least 800+ pages. When considering the cost of this series, it's overpriced. I would not recommend this series unless you like to pay for extremely overpriced books. I will not be reading more of this series [mystery will not be solved for me] or any other series by Helen Hardt until she lowers her price to be competitive with other authors in this genre.

A great continuation of the series
Where books 1-3 were based on Talon Steel, Melt (book 4) is Jonah Steel’s story. As with the previous stories in the series, this one contains some very steamy sex scenes but also has a really good continuation of the underlying theme. The story overall is developing and getting bigger, and yet again ends on a cliffhanger which has me keen to progress to book 5.
