These are excellent screen protectors. They come in a professional looking cardboard enclosure with all the materials and instructions necessary for a clean install. These particular ones don't "quite" reach the edge of the phone because they are actual tempered glass, and the Idol 4S phone has a curved edge, but the protector extends all the way to the edge of the display area right to where the curvature of the phone's glass starts. They will probably crack with time as you drop your phone, which is why it's handy they come in a multi-pack, and that's preferable to the screen of your phone getting scratched and damaged.I purchased these because I recently replaced my Lumia 640. My Lumia 640 was sporting a Mr. Shield screen protector. I forgot the phone on the top of my car, and as I hit about 55, the phone flew off and landed on the highway behind me. I probably wouldn't have even noticed if it hadn't hit my CB antenna on the way back and made a loud DOOIIIIIING sound. The two cars immediately behind me ran over my phone at 55-60 mph. I went back to get my phone. The screen appeared shattered, but it was just the Mr. Shield screen protector. The screen protector peeled off all in one piece thanks to some safety glue/adhesive in the middle to keep the pieces together, and the actual phone screen was perfectly fine and unscathed. Too bad the rest of the phone wasn't covered in Mr. Shield glass because the battery and entire back side of the phone was destroyed, but the Mr. Shield screen protector went above and beyond anything I could have expected from it, so when I needed to order a screen protector for my new phone, I knew exactly what I was going to buy.

I've purchased many Mr. Shield screen protectors in the past for a lot of my devices, and they all turned out beautifully even after years of abuse and usage. Protects against scratches, feels like the regular screen with the glass, etc.However, since the Alcatel Idol 4S has a curved screen (which I think is absolutely beautiful), the screen protector does not cover the entire front glass. This is stated in the description and by other reviewers so I knew what to expect.The problem is the curvature of the screen extends past where the screen protector ends. So on the left and right side of the phone, you can clearly tell where the protector did not adhere to the screen. Usability is great, but it is quite an eyesore when the screen is off. I followed all the instructions and have put on many glass screen protectors without issue in the past. Just this phone's screen is too rounded. Be better off with a plastic screen protector but those feel terrible.I can live with how it looks, but be well aware that this is a major flaw, and it's neither parties fault. If the screen protector was any smaller, it wouldn't cover the 5.5" display. And Alcatel went with this curved glass design that just looks gorgeous. Just my 2 cents. See attached pictures.EDIT: This screen protector is for ANDROID Idol 4S phones. I have a Windows 10 Idol 4S which has more of a curvature in the screen. That's why it won't adhere to the edges. Beware W10M Idol 4S owners, better off getting one of those plastic screen protectors where you squeegee them on.

The GoodInstalling went easier than I thought. What I really like is the smooth glide on this "hard" shield. My last phone had more of a rubbery shield, and I like the glide on this much better.The Sub-Good I have 2 very small "shaded areas", not sure if they are tiny bubbles or spots on the shield that had limited "glue"; in any case, I can only see then when I purposefully look for them, so they pretty much don't exist most of the time. I wish the shape/edging better matched the phones curvature and/or curving points. I see a small white outer outline under the edge of the shield that does not contact the glass... Minus one point for this.

This fits an ALCATEL Idol 4S or my Blackberry Dtek60. The last one I purchased did not fit very well, it was a lot smaller than the actual phone screen. This one is still smaller than the screen, so it leaves a small edge of the screen unprotected, but it is the best fit i have found so far. The installation was easy, however, there were some irregularities in the adhesive and I really had to push hard on it to get the air out from behind the glass. I would have given it 5 stars, but because I had to really work at getting the air out, I can only give it a 4 star.

After years of dealing with the frustrations of Mylar screen protectors, the tempered glass protector from Mr. Shield is a breath of fresh air. The installation was straightforward, and the cutouts in the glass aligned beautifully with the corresponding features on the phone. While it is true that the screen protector does not cover the entire surface of the glass, this one flaw is not really the fault of the manufacturer because the phone's design more or less precludes full coverage due to the radii of the screen's edges. That aside, these screen protectors are a solid product, and at $7.95 a pair (at the time of this purchase) they are a bargain as well.

Great screen protectors, very easy to put on. Includes lint/dust removers, a couple alcohol wipes, a large adhesive strip (for removing more dust and lint), and a "squeegee" to get rid of bubbles (which you won't really get with tempered glass). The glass itself feels great and seems to be more smudge-resistant then the phone's actual screen.The screen protector DOES NOT fully fit on the front of the phone, but keep in mind that the edges of the screen are slightly curved. The screen protector still offers necessary protection for your phone.For VR goggle users:Since it is thicker than a traditional screen protector, you may have issues using VR goggles with the tempered glass screen protector on. I've found myself having to push the phone in with one of my hands for the buttons on the goggles to work properly.

These adhere well however due to the curved edges of the screen itself they do not stick to the outer mm or so on the side edges. Having said that they do the job that they are intended to. Received them quite quickly. Happy overall.
