Cuisipro Cupcake Corer

I used this to stamp out little wells in my lemon meringue cupcakes to fill with lemon curd, and they worked spectacularly. I had been using an apple corer before, but this made the job MUCH easier, b/c rather than using my finger to push out the little cupcake-hole, this one has a little plunger that does that job much faster. I love this little thing. It works great!

Bought this because I was going to be filling 50+ cupcakes and wanted to make the job go faster. Definitely easier and faster than using a knife. Good tool if you will reuse or have a lot of work to get through quickly. Could also be a good gift for the baker who has everything.

This requires a bit of finesse if your cupcakes are dense or not fully cooled. Rather than just plunge and twist you need to plunge, twist, and rock it a bit, then pull it out at a slight diagonal. Once I had that part down I was coring cupcakes in record time. To clean I just popped it in the top rack of the dishwasher.

This tool is very useful when used correctly. The key is making sure that your cupcakes are completely cooled before you try to core them. Twist & push the corer into the cupcake and it makes nice size holes when you are looking to have a decent amount of filling in the cupcake. Another great thing is the way it's designed, ensures that the hole does not go all the way to the bottom of the cupcake so you can be comfortable in knowing that your filling won't leak due to the hole being too deep. It took me about 2 minute to core all of my cupcakes, no mess and way easier than using a knife to get this size hole.

Worked great! I made sorting hat cupcakes for my daughters birthday and put different house colors inside. This supcake corer worked easily and perfectly. It washed well and seems very well made. I look forward to coring many more cupcakes

This works much better than expected. I love that it is red...matches my kitchen. I thought at first, that the cupcake was already small enough and if I take a chunk out it wouldn't be much cupcake left! But I tested it and filled it with my strawberry cream. And it was actually perfect. Taking one bit didn't get you to the center like I thought...but the second bite was like getting a lil surprise, and I didn't feel like it took away from getting a taste of the cake. It worked great, easy to use, easy to clean.

I make a LOT of filled cupcakes. It was always tedious to have to try and core out the center of a cupcake when I wanted to fill it with something that couldn't be baked directly in the cupcake. I bought this with my usual skepticism of how an item will work but I have to say I was seriously impressed. All you do is push it into the cupcake with a little twist and pull out then push the red button to pop the core out. That was the fastest I have ever cored cupcakes. I will be buying another one for my nieces wedding next year she wants 300 cupcakes this will certainly make life a LOT easier.

I can see that it's easier than using a knife or spoon, so for that reason, its worth it. It does not remove the entire middle of my cupcake. It is useful but not perfected tool.
