Love them - happy with the build quality and light colour

Received the solar spotlight Oct. 16th and only worked for one day. At first I thought it didn’t charge properly so I left it out in the sun for a few days. I set it back up and still nothing. Since it didn’t work I decided to open the unit up and it looks like the chip is fried. I saw so many good reviews and had high expectations for this light but I am highly disappointed. Not sure if I just happened to get a defective unit.Update: Shortly after my review I received a replacement unit. I tried it out and so far so good! The customer service alone has surpassed my expectations. Solvao went above and beyond to make sure I wasn’t anything less than 100% satisfied with my solar spotlight.

I was looking for a solar light to light my flag at night. After reviewing multiple options I went with the SOLVAO based on the reviews. I couldn't be happier. I use the enclosed spike to locate the light in my flower bed so that I can rotate the light upward. The light has a wide range of motion as does the solar panel. I have been pleased with the fact that with approximately 6 hours of direct sun light the lamp stays lit all night on high. I would recommend this light for anyone who needs a single light to illuminate flags, trees, etc.

Updated Review :I previously gave this item one star, because the light that I purchased stopped working after a month...and I DID NOT purchase the warranty.Well, Solvao takes their reviews seriously, because I received an email from the president of the company within a few days of posting the review. He offered me some troubleshooting advice to try on the light, and when that didn't work, I received a new light in the mail. This is something that you don't see many companies doing in this day and age.I already have the light in the yard...and I can tell you, that it's very bright - it gives off just as much light as my neighbor's electric flood light.

This light is terrific! I wanted a spotlight bright enough to illuminate the flag on a 20' flagpole. I also wanted it to be solar powered. I first tried another brand spotlight and it was not nearly bright enough. I then purchased this light thinking of using the lower power setting so the light would stay lit longer during the night. When it arrived, I decided to try it on the high setting. It lit up the flag perfectly. It stayed on from 8 pm until the sun came up at 6 am (the last week in April) the next morning. Couldn't be more pleased.

I purchased this guy in December of 2017. It only lasted 2 seasons. I only left it out totally for 2018 and put it back out in the yard again in December of 2019 till April 2020 put it back in the shed and again put it back out Dec of 2020 and it stopped working Jan. 2021. If you ask me it’s like a lawnmower or air conditioner warranty, a person only uses it 3 or 4 months a year and it’s only warranted for 3 years and ends up only being used 9 or 12 months. I wasn’t real impressed with the relative positioning ability either. It needs to be able to independently be able to position the solar panel to the south (in the US) and the light could swivel to wherever you needed it to point.
