The Passover Haggadah

Perfect
This Haggadah is absolutely gorgeous. It came quickly and in perfect condition. The gold and blue design on the cover is actually tactile to the touch, which adds such a high quality feel. The book has full translation throughout in English, Hebrew, and in Hebrew spelled out phonetically. The book covers everything from the most basic of information like the Seder plate, ten plagues, the four questions, how to host your seder. But the book goes into much more detail about every aspect of the Seder and the Passover story. Including recipes, traditions from throughout the Diaspora, songs, further reading. It is of course ordered, but also the book is seperated into sections using different color page tabs to help organize even further The book has gorgeous art all throughout as well. It's practically perfect, if you are searching around for a Haggadah, I'd absolutely recommend this one! It's great for begginers, children, and guests definitely, but absolutely those who've had dozens of seders in their life!

Passover has a new tradition
Passover this year came at an inopportune time given COVID. I had to quickly organize my own Seder and find Haggadahs. I consider myself Traditional - or old Conservative, so I grew up using the Maxwell House Haggadahs.I have to say I enjoyed the author's take on the Seder - it kept to the roots of using Hebrew as necessary and then providing transliteration for my non-Hebrew speaking family. I liked the pondering questions that helped keep the Seder interesting. I generally lead the Seder so it was a minor change to switch to this version which was much appreciated that it sticks to the normal flow that I was used to.Overall highly recommended for a Traditional / old Conservative family looking for a modern update to the Maxwell House with great imagery and flow.

GREAT FOR FIRST SEDER!!!!
This was an AMAZING haggadah for my first seder as I am still learning Hebrew. I am in my 20's and this keeps it fun and colorful and INTERESTING, it is lgbtq friendly and has mentions inside which is nice. Easy to pick up and lots of useful information. The modern orthodox family I enjoyed the seder with though it was interesting and everyone learned new facts! Great conversation starter!

A good informational book
Great book for informing you of the story/history and how to prepare for your Seder. Great tips and tricks to get your house, meal, and friends and family ready. Recommend for a good 101 book :) there is also a format to follow but you would need to make notes for the actual meal

Consider this new version for your table
Really like the modern take - it was a bit to inclusive for one of my older uncles but I have cousins that are gay -so I thought most of the optional outtakes were good. Wording is modern - you don’t feel like you are reading from some ancient book. Illustrations are beautiful but Faina not stodgy
