The book is better than twilight and its nothing like twilight which is a good thing because I seriously don't want a vampire who shine in sun.
I want to give it 5 starts but I have to cut 1 start because of the fake feminism Tracy have tried to put where it was not at all needed, like Jaxon tries to take care of Grace, he will be a total gentleman and Grace will flip him off just to show fake faminism.

Not bad
Okay, so this was my first book by Tracy Wolff and I must say it was exactly how I expected it to be.*shrug*The simple yet gorgeous cover was the primary reason I picked up this book. I kind of went into this book blindly. No Synopsis reading or anything. I mean c'mon! You don't even have to! The whole cover and the title itself gives it away!It practically screams VAMPIRE!So if there are vampires then surely werewolves aren't far.The plot is kinda very typical. The whole book gives you twilight-ey feels if you know what I mean though it's not really twilight. Maybe.Anyway the characters include the same old dark, handsome brooding vampire, a mundane human girl bringing light to his darkness and a psychopath who wants to destroy them... you get the gist? The characters are quite predictable. The fact that all of this happens in an academy is a plus point for me.There are many steamy scenes(not that steamy, mind you!) in between ( of course! It's a paranormal ROMANCE!)I really don't like how the author subtly tries to portray a strong female protagonist when everything about her says naive, clueless, ignorant and damsel-in-distress. So there's that!Nothing much can be said about the whole story without reading the second Book. All in all it's a good trash and I am willing to read the second book.Sincerely looking for the second book.

This book is for all the twilight lovers.
This book is about vampires, witches, werewolves, dragons ( yes dragons in human form) studying in a broading school in Alaska.Grace who lost everything that means to her comes to this particular Broading school for studying. But what happens when a mere human surrounded by deadly supernatural creatures who are currently about to start a war with eachother?Everything changes once she enters the school. Will Grace comes to know the truth of supernatural world? Will she able to handle the truth? Is grace in any danger? Is grace a supernatural creature? For that, read and find out...This book is love for every fantasy lover. There are all creatures you would like to read about. I always thought I missed reading twilight saga before watching. But this book gave me very much twilight experience though these both books are very much different.I felt so young while reading it. There's so much emotions in book that you get to feel while reading.☆☆☆Coming to book cover, it's so beautiful. The flower reminds me of grace as well as Bella too. They're so innocent and sensitive like a flower who stumbles into paranormal world. And blood reminds me of Jackson who would do anything to save grace.☆Author's writing is so simple, easy to understand by anyone. This is her first book I read and I love it.☆As tittle is named Crave, who will crave for this book.Soon Gonna start crush the sequel to Crave. It's huge ass book which is absolute love 😻.

Definitely not a Twilight Re-telling Despite the Similarities!
I think it's important to get this out of the way, that I'm thankful for the consistent reminder on how this is the next Twilight, which helped create a general awareness in me as I began reading, that I can expect some similarities. I won't deny that there are similarities, but I think given the wide scope of events that take place, there are too many things that are not similar for these little similarities to take the reader away from the story.Tracy Wolff has definitely put her all into this book to keep you riveted. It was a true entertainer (a term I never thought I'd use to describe a book) but that's what it felt like. It felt like I was reading a book that was just so entertaining and enrapturing that I couldn't look away--whether or not there is something predictable happening. I think I can safely say I was definitely lost in the story so much that I was utterly incapable of guessing anything until just before it could even take place. I was wholly with Grace as her story unfolds. The story pretty much dives (hehe) into gear as soon as it starts and pretty much all the important characters are introduced earlier on and I felt no confusion as to who was who. While I wasn't all that moved by Grace's relationship with her cousin, Macy, I definitely think that Macy has done her best to support and help Grace throughout her stay at Katmere Academy. Grace's uncle, Foster, however I had warm feelings for because Grace always remembers her father around him and that's just both a sad and sweet emotion. It was lovely that Grace had family that watched out for her (*cough* gave her a lot of privileges *cough*), had her back no matter what and never pushed her on anything. Though, I will agree, despite the strangeness of some of the benefits and outs Grace always had, her situation was rather different than those around her.Grace was whose head we are in the whole book and I think what may put off some people was how that made the narration sound. It sounded exactly as you would expect it to if you were inside the head of a young girl. This could both endear you to her and pretty much have you disliking her voice, depending on the reader. But I was rather comfortable because I could imagine someone her age thinking of and being absorbed by certain thoughts. Strangely enough her relationship with Jaxon was something I surprisingly enjoyed. It was rather organic and natural and though I wouldn't describe it as insta-love, I would definitely call it insta-connection, which created a very nice gentleness within both of them when around one another. Speaking of gentleness, Jaxon himself surprised me; I truly was expecting a hot-again-cold-again Edward Cullen redo, but I really didn't expect what Jaxon brought to the table. I was surprised to feel through the pages that Jaxon actually seemed much much older and wearier than someone his age, he was hurting, self-loathing (of course), but definitely gentle and at no point did I doubt that he was fond of Grace. There is much that is left to be explained, but I presume the sequel will help up understand more of Grace and Jaxon and their story. The last perhaps ten percent left me reeling with the action and gore and I hadn't expected it in the least. The surprise and minor cliffhanger has me excited for Crush to know where Tracy Wolff is going to take us next!Four stars! I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a paranormal romance with steaks of familiarity and lots of magic and mayhem. Go in with an open mind. Happy reading! Be safe <3Received an ARC.

Loved every moment, addicting to read
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 / 4.5 starsCrave is a new vampire love story that follows Grace’s move to Alaska after her parents are killed. She starts at a new boarding school, where her uncle is the head of.This story was one that I did not know I needed. I’m not the biggest fan of Twilight, so seeing this was supposed to be the Twilight of this generation, it raised some doubts. The only thing I can think of after reading this book is “shame on me for not picking it up sooner!”.I was invested from the very first page and couldn’t stop reading it. I finished this monster in less than 24 hours and didn’t regret it one bit. The pacing was just perfect. Not one moment did it feel to fast or slow. The writing was just lighthearted and really easy. The fantasy elements woven into the modern world were a really nice touch. The world-building wasn’t really big, since everything takes place on school grounds, but still the world felt really big. The information given on the fantasy elements were very complete and I didn’t feel like something was missing or something should’ve been explained more. I also loved the authors take on the supernatural. The way the species are described and their abilities were much more believable. I also liked how it wasn’t typical vamps against wolves.Grace was a bit timid in the beginning, but the moment she snapped at Jaxon during their first encounter, I was rooting for her. She’s human but at the same time not the typical damsel in distress that needs saving. Yes, she needs saving, but she doesn’t wait for it to happen. I love how determined she is, headstrong and smart. Flint was a very interesting character and I can’t wait to see more of him. Jaxon, our brooding vampire, has so much more layers to him. He’s genuinely caring and has solid reasons for acting like he does. Everyone’s development was really well written and executed. I look forward to seeing more of that further along in the series. The romance in this book was very predictable but sweet nonetheless. I had hoped it would’ve been a little less Insta-love. Albeit the Insta-love, I was rooting for the both of them since the beginning. Also, Grace’s dynamic with Macy was really sweet.Overall, I loved every moment of this book and ordered the second book the minute I’d finished. I can’t wait to delve more into this fun fantasy world!
