Good kit.
This rebuild was more difficult than I was expecting and I've done a couple before. You'll have to desolder and resolder the diodes. The bearing is also very difficult to remove from the housing. The bearing is held in with a rolled edge, so I had to cut the lip with a dremel, then pound it out.I rebuilt my alternator 10 months ago and the kit works well and saved me some money.

Somewhat difficult to install
Correct parts but rebuilding this alternator must have field wires unsoldered to take the case apart to install these parts. More work than I really wanted to do. Older alternators were made to overhaul easier. Next time I will just buy a complete alternator.

Missing both bearings
Missing both bearings. No offer of replacement, no offer to send me the missing pieces. Wanted me to pay to have it picked up. Overall, very poor experience.

Order the kit and it was missing the brush holder

It works great!
Everything works just fine! It was a little bit difficult to desolder the connections and ended up using a map gas torch because my 240 watt soldering iron wouldn't even touch it. Overall I saved a lot of money doing this myself.
