Can this salt be used with regular purified water?

Absolutely - many people will mix this salt with water to sprinkle or anoint, or to use in baptisms. You can also use it dry - the use is really up to the individual and the purpose of the blessing.

Can a person ingest this?

Yes! This salt is fully edible. You may find that it’s taste is a bit stronger than regular table salt, as dead sea salt contains a full spectrum of minerals. It is also a bit finer texture than standard salt. Many people sprinkle it on their food during special meals. You can also mix it with water to anoint or sprinkle on the ground, at weddings, blessings, etc. The Blessing Salt has been blessed by a Christian minister, but if you are Catholic, you may wish to have it further blessed by your clergy. Can you mix it with holy water?

Absolutely! You can mix this with holy water and make a solution. You only need a tiny sprinkle in a cup of water for a solution! If it is too strong, the salt will become sticky when the water dries. Dead sea salt is extremely concentrated and full of minerals. This is much different then standard table salt! Use sparingly and it will make a wonderful infused holy water.
