Wonderful warm mild flavor. I add it to a lot of dishes for extra depth. My first one pound bag was purchased because of a recommendation from a You Tube cooking channel - Views on the Road. I ground that in my little coffee grinder which took forever.I like the flavor so much I bought six more pounds to can red sauce and to powder. My little grinder was too time consuming so I found a high speed grinder from Cgoldenwall. Looking forward to an ample supply of this delightful pepper.

I didn't quite realize how many dried peppers it takes to make a pound. Fortunately, this last a long time. Good all around flavor for lots of mexi type dishes.

A must have for making your own chili powder. Mildly hot.

Very fresh appearance, excellent flavor and indeed were mild throughout. Will buy again, and also on the lookout for medium or hot. Cooked up with a nice fresh red color, too- not faded and dark.
