Display in dark screens are horrible
In any dark screen, there are visible blocks and color changes in the TV.I called Samsung support and they suggested me to unplug any connected devices such as gaming console and soundbar. After many months, I couldn't find a solution to this problem. Not recommend at all.

Doesnt feel QLED, Samsung Issues drag on !!!
After using this TV for almost two months. I have come to the conclusion there is no difference between a LED and QLED. Having used one LED for almost 8 years prior to buying this QLED. Atleast its not so visible.Maybe switching to NeoQLED will have a difference.Apart from that, Samsung TV's are notorious for its issues. Like Sometimes the TV freezes and you have to hard reboot it pressing the power button on the remote for a few seconds before it becomes normal again. Other than that while moving between apps there is a slight delay which causes a lot of irritation considering its not a cheap TV by any means. So in short, average picture quality, teething Samsung issues has got me really thinking whether spending six grands on this TV is really worth it or should have gone for NeoQLED or Sony OLED TV.

An almost perfect television!
I just moved to a new city and in setting up my new place to live, I decided that I was going to indulge myself and set up a serious home theatre. This screen is, obviously the centerpiece.I did a lot of research and it felt like this QLED television would hit the right balance of quality, size and price and it most definitely has. It's a gorgeous screen and the set up has it about 12 feet from my sofa so it literally feels cinematic! One thing I would suggest is that, if you're wanting to set it up for hardcore movie watching, dig through the settings and set picture mode to "Filmmaker Mode". It's stunning!I opted not to get a cable TV package here because I was planning on doing everything via streaming, so far, so good. My set up is an AppleTV 4K to handle all of the streaming with a stereo pair of Dolby Atmos capable HomePod 2 speakers which work perfectly for the room size. Now as to why I say "almost perfect" in the headline: What I really wanted (and, sadly, I'll never be able to get) is not a "smart TV". Since I want to be able to handle the streaming through an external device and have the sound running through external speakers, what I wish I could've bought was a stripped down version of this panel with no speakers and no "smart" features. Basically a very very high end large monitor. The TV is enabled with Alexa (which I don't use) and its own App Store (which I also don't use) and some decent speakers (which have never been used since I set up the system). I really wish TV manufacturers would make simple, high quality stripped down televisions with advanced picture settings but none of the rest of it.Now I'm going to go watch something 4K and loud!

Excellent Television
This television is stunning. The picture makes me want to watch something on TV.I bought the 75 inch version and it fit my oddly shaped living room perfectly. It's like it belonged there the entire time. When I had received the TV, it was delivered right into my living room and the delivery person made sure that I was happy with what I had received before leaving. I then connected it to the Internet and applied some updates before setting it up on its wall mount. I can't say enough nice things about this TV.While I would have preferred having a few more buttons on the controller, using the software and voice control options aren't bad. As I have another older Samsung TV, I was pleased to see that the old controller works perfectly on the new TV. That was just a nice perk.

The picture quality is just great.
The picture quality is just great. The TV is in the corner of 2 large bow windows. There is a lot of sunlight in the room but the picture brightness and contrast compensates for it. Just beautiful to watch.

Declining software performance over time
I purchased this product at the end of Nov 2022. It is currently July 2024. At the time of purchase, this unit was $1409.62. This review is specifically in regards to the TV's software and connectivity issues, and not its image quality. If you are evaluating this product for purchase, it is important to consider both, as software and connectivity issues can render the product dramatically less useful, despite having a satisfactory image quality. My current issues are:(1) I have noticed declining internet connection stability for the last year. All streaming apps across the board are having issues with streaming content.(2) Software performance is declining. Startup times for TV and other apps are becoming slower and slower, despite no new changes or apps being added to the TV.(3) Samsung wants to charge a hefty repair fee ($250-$360) because the original warranty is only for 1 year on parts and labor, and I am just outside of that window. How do I know the connectivity issues are caused by the TV unit itself?- I have 1 gbps fiber internet, and have tested my internet connection and stability across multiple devices connected to the network, none of which have exhibited any issues at all, whatsoever.- There have been no documented outages in my area.- I am able to run streaming apps when using my TV with a connected ROKU device, or with a Playstation 5What have I done to troubleshoot?(1) Confirmed that the TV can detect the network via Settings > General > Network > Open Network Settings.(2) Confirmed Network Status through Settings > General > Network > Network Status.(3) Confirmed that my network has not restricted or blocked connections to or from the TV.(4) Checked that my TV is receiving full signal strength.(5) Have conducted a reset of network multiple times via Settings > General > Network > Reset Network.(6) Power cycled my modem/router a TV by unplugging/replugging it.(7) Cold restart of my TV by holding down the power button until the TV shuts down and restarts.(8) Reduced the number of devices connected to my network.(9) Manually setting my DNS server on my TV as instructed by Samsung.(10) Connected to TV via hotspot.(11) Factory reset of my TV.While some of these troubleshooting methods temporarily restore the TV's connection to the internet, the connectivity issues remain persistent despite multiple attempts.I am mostly disappointed in Samsung for putting out a poor-quality product, a warranty policy that shows how little faith they have in the quality of their own products, and a lack of resources for consumers to address these issues caused by the manufacturer without incurring out-of-pocket costs. Conclusion: Please consider the TV's image quality, software reliability, and level of support from its manufacturer before committing to purchasing a product of this price range. For me personally, I hesitate to make another investment into a Samsung television in the future because of these issues. I have much older and cheaper TVs that operate with no software or connection issues.

Very clunky and invasive. But good looking aside from that.
The negatives are very egregious on this TV, and it's an old enough model now that I don't foresee a firmware update coming anytime soon to address them.First and most importantly - the American version (only experience I have) does not let you remove Samsung Plus channels from the homescreen. I have small children that get to see scantily-clad women and LGBTQ-infused thumbnails whenever they're just trying to get to the Playstation. I've uninstalled the app, but the channel thumbnails persist. And if anyone clicks one, they have the option to reinstall the app and watch the show. There is a "ratings lock" in the options, but I've found that it's far too lax in it's interpretation of what is "ok" for kids. There is a lot of this kind of thing peppered throughout most/all of the apps. Also, for some reason even if the app is uninstalled or disabled, if you've tried to view a channel and failed, and turn off the TV, when you turn it back on the default setting for the TV is to play the most recent thing you were in (but this time it succeeds)... even if it was uninstalled. Not sure how that's possible, but it's true. I had to disable the "play recent" to keep an uninstalled channel from playing as soon as the TV turns on. The stuff Samsung wants your family exposed to is baked in, and I kind of assume this is a feature in all of their products.Second, the remote is not responsive, to the point that I would call it borderline broke. I have to press all buttons extremely hard and for a long time to get it to register. Compounding that problem, the TV itself seems to be lacking in computing power because when it does register a button-press, many times it comes with a 3-4 second lag. So if you're trying to back out one level in a menu, but aren't sure if your button registered, so you hit it again and it exits completely out of the app, now you have to input your pin again to regain access. Which bring me conveniently to bug #3...(edit: remote broke a year and a half into it's life. Junk!)There is no keypad on the remote. (I know. "It's not a bug - it's a feature.") It makes for a very simple, clean-looking interface (which generally I prefer), but if there are kids in the room that you don't want knowing the pin, now they all have to leave and come back after you're finally able to laggily reinput your number with the directional buttons. Paired with the previous problem makes this an ordeal to watch anything, and it really shouldn't be.Lastly (and I knew about this before I bought it, but it's still a slap in the face when thrown on an already large pile of negatives) - very bad native sound. You will want a sound bar at minimum (further decreasing the value of this unit). This wasn't so much of an issue for me, because I had planned on having a 5.1 system anyways. But if you're looking for an out-of-the-box experience here, you're just not going to get it.End Thoughts:If you're childless (or either fully trust Samsung and The Media Conglomerate for what content is best for your children to consume, or just don't care what they're watching), and are willing to deal with a buggy remote and UI for a bit before settling on what you're watching, it's a decent-looking picture with e-arc technology, at a fairly low price (relative to the extremely low value of the US dollar). I'm stuck with the TV (the devil you know...), so my wife and I are doing our best with a crappy system for TV-watching. Coming from an LG and their extremely flawed OLED technology but family-friendly interface... I'm realizing that there just isn't anything good out there anymore. (I did a metric ton of research for months before buying both of those TVs)But whatever I try next, it won't be LG or Samsung. I don't make major purchases in my house so often that I can afford to make a costly mistake twice with the same brand. Vote with your dollars. Eventually they will miss getting paid.
