I think the Progressive International Collapsible Dish Rack is an absolute genius idea for those who don't have a lot of counter space, like myself. I was a little unsure when I originally purchased it and when I received it (2 days later), I thought it looked HUGE! I was not expecting it to be as large as it is. I personally love this dish rack. The first time opening and closing it is very awkward as the plastic is kind of hard but as you get more accustomed to working with it, it becomes easier and the plastic loosens a little making it pretty easy to open and close. The material it's made of is durable in that it stays straight up and doesn't collapse on its own. Granted, there is no real space for cups/mugs but to be honest, it's never been a real issue because I am able to some way get everything to fit without a problem. The dish rack is about the same size length and width wise as your standard dish rack, but it's so deep it fits quite a lot of dishes. In my standard rack, when I cooked dinner, the dishes needed to be done in waves because the rack couldn't accommodate all the dishes/cups/bowls/pans/etc but this one holds everything in one load. So happy I went with this rack. I love the option either leaving it out or closing it up and tucking it away for additional counter space. Good product, well made, well worth the price. Totally recommend. =)

My husband and I love this dish rack. We had been searching for a dish rack that fit our needs (small house, small kitchen, limited counter and storage space) for quite a while and hadn't found anything that would work for us.One evening, after my husband requested a dish rack for his birthday present (yes, seriously) and I was having an awful time trying to find one, I had the random thought, "Why don't they make a collapsible dish rack?" Lo and behold, they do!This particular collapsible dish rack was chosen for several reasons over the other options.One: the option to have it either drain into the sink (like a traditional dish rack) or flip the base over so it would drain into the base. I wasn't sure whether we had the counter space next to the sink to have it drain into the sink or if it would overlap the sink and spill all over the floor. I made the right choice there, it would have spilled all over the floor without the option to drain into the base.Two: removable silverware rack. We do have a dishwasher, so this rack was meant for the handwash-only items and/or dishes that wouldn't fit in the dishwasher. Sometimes we don't have dirty handwash silverware and the extra space removing the silverware holder gives more room for the other things.Three: the space it takes up while folded. We wanted something small enough to tuck on top of our cabinets that wouldn't stick out over the top. This folds up (with base) to roughly 1.5 inches.Another pro I hadn't considered before purchasing is that when we need to move it because we need the counter it's sitting on and the dishes aren't dry enough to put away, we can simply pick it up and move it to another counter or the table (heck, I've even put it on top of the clothes washer before) without worrying about all the water spilling on the floor.Excellent design and versatility!

I really liked this dish rack because it's very versatile. It's large compared to other dish racks, that's why it's so great that it's collapsible and can be tucked away when not needed. However I rarely put mine away, I like to have it handy, but I like that I can store it neatly if I want. It is also dishwasher safe, which is convenient. I find the bottom liner still collects calcium, but this could be because I forget to wash it and don't do it as often as I should. Ideally I wanted to wash it once a week but it goes much longer than that. However I think it's a great practical buy.
