The tape is slightly thicker than some and is easy to unroll. The tack is so low it doesn't adhere well to some surfaces (polished wood), but it was not manufactured to do that.

These were perfect for my purpose...but might not be for yours.I wanted these rolls in order to mask off dados in wooden pieces for a project I am building. I then spray the pieces with clear lacquer, but the dados remain lacquer-free and thus taker wood glue much better.The three widths make it very easy to mask off each dado: just choose the right width for the dado and I'm all set! Same with the edges of the pieces that fit into the dados.This tape does not hold as well as "name brand" blue painters' tapes. For me, that's actually an advantage, because I find the name brand tapes are sometimes hard to remove from sanded, unfinished wood. But I'm just using clear lacquer, and I don't care if a little bit gets under the edges of the tape. If you really want to mask off an area from paint and end up with a sharp line, the lighter grip might be an issue.In short, I'm delighted! It's made my project so much easier. But if it's important to you that the tape has a strong hold so as to perfectly mask off a section, make sure you test it first!

I use this tape for my wood round welcome signs to make lines too add color. I’ve had zero issues with bleed. I take my time to make sure it’s stuck down good. Love the different sizes I purchased with this order. Would buy again.

Great idea to have multiable sizes in one purchase. I found the tape would not stay sealed down for any length of time. I viewed it as a waste of time and money to use.

What more could you want?

This tape is okay quality. It does not work well with art paper. It pulled off a layer of my 98lb sketching paper when taking it off and I hadn’t applied it tightly. It smells awful and you will need to wash your hands after using it. As well, the edges are not even so you may not end up with perfectly evenly spaced lines - so don’t expect that.
