SPDT Automotive Round Rocker Switch Center Off - Black

This little switch has been great. I would have given it a 5 star if they had just told me what size of whole I needed on the packaging! Such a small thing but extremely annoying. That said, it works great for my application. I drive over a mountain pass everyday for work so I bought this for a LED lightbar. I wired it into my high beams so it shuts off with the high beams. This keeps me from blinding anyone which is extremely important to me. I can't stand it when people do that so I definitely don't want to. This switch also allows me to shut that function off which is crucial. My car (Subaru Forester) uses the high beams for DRL. I definitely suggest going this route and it is in a good spot so it looks nice. I did buy a cheap step bit off of here to install it. I'd highly suggest getting one.

I have a Dodge 2500 Mega Cab truck with a 5th wheel hitch mounted in the bed. I installed 2 rear view cameras on it, one for the license plate and one on top of the bed by the cab so I can see the 5th wheel hitch. I used this to switch between the two cameras so that I can either hook up to the RV or use the lower one for backing up or as a rear view cam. I wired both cameras to be powered all the time when the switch is thrown to the camera being used NOT tied to the backup lights so that I can use the cameras at any time. This comes in handy when you have stuff in the bed you want to see but can't see through your back window or you just want to use them as an additional rear view mirror. Anyway the low profile works great.

Switch is nice and compact, made it easy to find a good location to mount in my dash. Feels pretty solid should last some time. I would buy it again if the need arises.

This switch is not rated for 12v or DC; it is only rated for 125v or 250v AC. While it can work in 12v circuits, it is not designed for direct current, only alternating.Therefore, the life of this switch may be adversely effected and may fail at an accelerated rate. If you are looking for an approved 12v DC, switch you will have to continue looking. I'm sure the switch is great in 125v or 250v AC circuits, but is not designed for DC.

Worked great. I used it to make my light bar a 3 way so I can have it on by itself or eith my high beams. Definitely use a relay though I wouldn't hook it up directly.

Just in time too. Snow and cold overnight. Perfect fit took minutes to replace.

I use these to make the cigar sockets in my truck switchable from always-on (I) to on-with-key (II) or off(O), and they're perfect. They're compact enough to fit, but large enough to see and operate, even with my big meathooks. They're very easy to drill in, and then file a small notch so their index will keep them from spinning. And unlike most switches available in local parts stores, they're not flamboyantly-colored with oversize breakable knobs and distracting lighting. They almost look stock.
