I almost want to give it 4 stars but it wouldn’t be fair. The book isn’t easy. It’s a solid method and I’ve progressed but not as much as I would have like; in fairness I think the topic is just that hard. Is there a better method out there? Possible. I haven’t found it. Maybe Spicer?The essence of this book is about key phases of understanding how to draw, starting with simple shapes; and going through the various parts of the figure; then putting it all together.

My daughter is into drawing and wanted a book for reference and learning some tricks. She apparently liked it and is actually using it so its a good buy.
