BM2 Mechanical Pencil Eraser

I have used these the past few years. They are great for lifting just the right amount of graphite. They can be used as a drawing instrument, such as indicating wisps of hair.

The eraser arrived promptly and is great for erasing those small spots in a drawing that need to be corrected or to create the white sparkle a sitter's eyes.

I love love LOVE this eraser. It has been a total gamechanger for me in terms of drawing in charcoal; it's super easy to draw highlights or lighten a specific area. The eraser doesn't retract if you press too hard on it, which means you can use a lot of force with it to really carve out lighter areas (unlike kneaded erasers that can mold into a small area, but cannot deliver strong erasing because of its moldable nature). It's also great if you want to do some cross-hatching patterns on already-dark areas in your drawings. Highly recommend for anyone working with charcoal. I'd imagine it'd work great with graphite although I haven't tested that out yet.
