Won't ever be without it!
Highly Recommend. Before using this regularly, our fur-baby suffered with weekly bouts of hairball issues. He hasn't had one since we began using this once a week.

Made my cats sick
I recently tried Hairball Relief drops for my cats, hoping it would help manage their hairball issues. Unfortunately, the experience was quite the opposite. Within a day of administering the drops, all of my cats began showing signs of distress. They became lethargic and started vomiting hairballs, a reaction that occurred almost immediately after taking the medicine.Key Issues:- **Immediate Adverse Reactions**: All of my cats threw up hairballs within hours of taking the drops, which is the opposite of the intended effect.- **Gastrointestinal Distress**: In addition to hairballs, my cats exhibited signs of stomach upset, including lethargy and discomfort.- **Ineffectiveness**: Instead of preventing hairballs, the product seemed to exacerbate the problem, causing more frequent and severe episodes.Given the negative reactions and lack of effectiveness, I cannot recommend this Hairball Relief Drops. It not only failed to address the hairball issue but also made my cats visibly sick. I would advise looking for alternative remedies that are proven to be both safe and effective.

My cat was throwing up daily!
My cat was getting chronic hairballs. She suddenly began vomiting pretty much on a daily basis. 12 year old female that was eating food and acting fine. No changes in her litter habits. She didn’t act sick. We took her to the vet and all her bloodwork was good. She had several tests done and they all showed nothing was wrong. She was losing weight and hungry all the time. We were certain it was hyperthyroidism, but thyroid blood work was completely normal. We also had the Vitamin A bloodwork done and it was good. She would wake us up throwing up every morning around 4am. I also noticed that she was getting more hairballs. Throwing up hairballs on a weekly or even monthly basis for a short hair cat is not normal and I just thought maybe it was because she was getting older. Come to find out, the vet and I think the vomiting and frequent hairballs was related to IBD. We opted to not do the biopsy/ exploratory surgery of intestinal tract to confirm IBD. It is the only way they can confirm it and I didn’t want to put her through such a tough surgery. My vet was willing to treat her as if she had IBD and put her on prednisolone daily for a month and see if it helped. It has been AMAZING!!!!! She hasn’t thrown up once and is gaining weight!!!! Almost 2 pounds in a month. We have started to reduce her dose and will continue to wean her down to the lowest amount to sustain her IBD. We still also do these hairball drops and we haven’t had hairballs since we started. I like them so much better than the sticky lubricant. I just mix it in with her wet food. I wanted to share my information to anyone who is desperate for answers on why their cat might be throwing up. I know that I had researched on the internet so much and couldn’t find answers. I didn’t see much about IBD initially, I kept seeing Vitamin A deficiency and hyperthyroidism. The vet thought that it was the dry food and she had developed a sensitivity and needed to go on wet food, but she was still vomiting on the wet food. Now we are able to give her a combo of wet and dry food and she hasn’t thrown up. Just happy to see so much improvement in 1 month!

Works so far
Our 8 year old adopted shelter cat had dry retching daily and large hairballs and other vomiting of dried food several times a week. I began to apply some of this oil/botanical solution to her dried food daily starting this summer and for the last month her vomiting is rare, about 1-2 times a month now. She still retches in the morning occasionally but not daily now. I re-read the instructions here because I can't read the tiny font on the bottle. It says this can be used 1-2 times a week for maintenance. I will now add this in that frequency for now, unless the symptoms continue. Her stools are fine where before they were often runny. I would say her BM's are now normal. This has helped the cat I believe. The vet ran fecal samples twice and could find no problems. I recommend giving this a try if your cat has hairball, retching or some stool issues.

Seller backs his product
I am adding an amendment to the previous feedback below. This did not work for our cat but does not say it won't work on yours. The company refunded my money after hearing the product did not work on our cat. It is rare to find a company these days that will stand behind their product and refund your money even after 30 days. Got to give credit where credit is due.Our cat has had problems getting the hairballs coughed up so I figured I'd try this. We gave it to him daily for 5 weeks with only 2 hairballs being coughed up during that time. Both of which were also full of bile. This is very expensive for it not to have helped the cat at all. Save your money and get something the Vet prescribes. We had to take him back to the vet because the medication we bought here did nothing.

My cat loves it, finally a product 5 🌟
My cat can't be tricked by the hair ball on the paw 🙄. I would put it on and all over the carpet. This oil is the only thing my cat has loved to eat. I buy a food for him that is gravy like and not pate which he dislikes. I put this on his food and he licks it dry, I only give him a teaspoon of food. I don't care about him wasting the food because he licks the oil and he hadn't puked up a hair ball in a week. I will only use this from now on.

Gives diarrhea
Gave all 5 of my kitties massive diarrhea time after time. A huge waste of money. And it did not prevent hairballs.
