Absolutely the best dog bark collar I have ever tried. I like that it warns the dog with a beep 3 times before it shocks them. They learn that they have to stop barking, instead of teaching them they can't bark at all. It has sensitivity levels that you can change which is great. I have one dog that consistently whines, so I do set his a little more sensitive. I absolutely love it.

It worked for a month and then my dog got used to it and just bark non stop. It will not shut off now. I would avoid buying it unless you get a warranty as mine is garbage now.

I ordered this collar because I was in trouble with the neighbors, they were calling in complaints about my dog. If you get too many complaints against your animals, they make you get rid of them. The collar comes with directions but for some reason I couldn't figure out the tester and had to look that up on their website. They also give you an extra battery which is nice. I don't have any intention to leave this collar on my dog for the next 6 months, just until she can learn some new habits. So this is how it works. This collar senses the vibration of you dogs bark and it beeps. If the barking continues in that 30 seconds it will beep again. If they don't get the hint and keep barking another 30 seconds it makes another beep and gives the dog a shock. If they still don't stop barking the collar with give them a longer beep and a shock for every bark, up to one minute of bark/shock. The collar automatically resets after that. It sounds harsh but you can adjust the level of the shock and I had mine on minimum. She is learning that she should keep her barks to herself. It's been a week and life on the block is a lot quieter. The collar is adjustable for different size dogs and whether they have long or short hair. It is effective and if you need to teach your dog not to bark, this is the collar for you. I didn't leave this on my dog unattended, just in case something went wrong and I did shock myself first to know exactly it felt like. Does not phase my 11 month old Rottweiler at all. This collar does not deter or prevent nuisance barking at all. Waste of money. It makes audible sounds which are ignored and on the highest level it just does nothing to distract or prevent my pup from barking at every moving thing she sees.

only takes 1 battery at a time and goes thru them quick. works great until its time for a new battery

We got this dog collar since we recently had a complaint that our dog barks to much (which usually results into a fine). I was very hesitant to get a bark collar worried it would hurt my dog and hear him yelp, but this never happened. It is very easy to setup and there is a "+" & "-" for sensitivity. I put mine to as sensitive as possible (pressed the "+" button till it wouldn't go any higher). This collar senses the vibration and makes a little beep, if it continues within 30 seconds a second beep will occur. If the barking continues still a beep will happen along with a light shock. If the barking continues still, there is a shock for every bark up to 1 minute and it will reset itself to protect the dog. It will also reset itself if the dog stops barking for more than 30 seconds. I am giving this product 4 stars since the collar kept slipping and coming loose requiring me to tighten it every time I realized it wasn't tight enough to be effective, after he barked. This did not work for my dog, since he is stubborn and would bark until it shut off, but I can see it working for others who are not as stubborn as mine.I did receive this product at a discounted price for my unbiased and fully honest review.

This collar wasn't good. It was cheap. It only worked a few times then it stopped working. The quality was also cheap and it barely even worked when my dog barked. I have a 2-year-old GSD so he is very loud and obnoxious when it comes to barking because people are passing by out front door. This product didn't help.
