Is this product safe for white leather ?

I've not used it on white, but I've used it on all my purses, wallets and my car interior which is tan leather. I've not had any discoloration on any of my things, some of which are red and blue also.

how well will this work on leather pistol holsters?

I use it on my king ranch seats. It keeps the leather soft and really does a nice job. I would' the afraid to use on a holster

My leather steering wheel used to have a matte finish but now looks glossy from the oils in my hands. Will this return the matte appearance?

You need to clean the leather first, then apply this leather conditioner. Make sure you buff off any excess. The steering wheel will not be oily or slick once it's dry
