SUNWAYFOTOGeared Head GH-Pro II Tripod Head

This is extremely well made and easy to operate. I bought it specifically for studio photography but can imagine it would be equally useful for landscapes.

This is just a pan tilt head, with knobs on. Used it for while, give yourself a couple of extra minutes to set up composition, not as fast as a bullhead, but a lot easier to fine tune. Seems sturdy enough, will have to see how it holds up in wet weather.

I did a lot of research prior to this purchase and was looking forward to receiving a well-made addition to my photographic equipment. When I set it up I noticed that there was considerable play in the tilt gear to the extent that the camera was not at all stable and was unusable. More investigation revealed that the tilt gearing was also very "notchy" as though there was a problem with the bearing race. Again further investigation showed that one of the gear adjustment knobs was out of line with the spindle and rotated in an erratic manner. All this would indicate to me that quality control is not what it should be! This was very disappointing given the excellent reviews I had read on the device. I returned the head for refund.

Great for land and city scapes. In such situations I prefer it to my fluid head and ball head. It’s about half the weight of my fluid head and very easy to use.

Superb piece of kit. Sorted my wonky horizons out. I would recommend.

Seems sturdy but how can you fully assess after only having it for a week.

es war noch nie so einfach die Kamera in die Waage zu bringen und genau auszurichten.Werft eure Kugelköpfe weg und kauft euch sowas.Zum Teil selbst, schon beim Auspacken macht es einen sehr wertigen Eindruck, und auch wenn der Sockel für mein Lion Rock 25 ca 10mm zu klein ist lässt es sich sauber montieren und einwandfrei bedienen. Die Kamera lässt sich super leicht ausrichten und auch mit großen Objektiven sitzt das alles ohne Spiel und lässt sich leichtgängig verstellen.Top Produkt kann man ohne Bedenken weiter empfehlen!

Per lavoro scatto su treppiede per gran parte del tempo e fino ad oggi ho sempre utilizzato una testa micrometrica Manfrotto 410 Junior, ma necessitavo di qualcosa di più agile ed altrettanto preciso, per cui ho deciso di provare questa testa, grande poco più di una a sfera, ma precisa tanto quanto la micrometrica Manfrotto. Onestamente la trovo più comoda, specie per la mancanza della grande manopola che serviva per ruotare la vista e molto spesso confondevo con quella della regolazione sull'asse orizzontale. Pù volte, dopo aver fatto la composizione, necessitavo una leggera rotazione per centrare la foto e invece sbagliavo e mandavo la fotocamera fuori bolla. Una cosa estremamente fastidiosa che capitava spesso quando usavo il tablet come monitor esterno e avevo necessità di piccole modifiche.Testata su foto d'architettura e still life, la trovo estremamente precisa e di facile utilizzo, una volta posizionato il treppiede e presa familiarità con le manopole, è difficile sbagliare e commettere errori di distrazione e questo per me è fondamentale, quando impiego tanto tempo a comporre. Inoltre la possibilità di ruotare leggermente la vista tramite la piastra superiore (tenendo quindi in bolla la fotocamera) è veramente una gran cosa, perchè si possono fare anche della panoramiche senza dover poi impazzire a raddrizzare tutto.Consiglio un treppiede bello stabile, per poter sfruttare al meglio questa testa. Se posso trovargli un difetto, forse è quello di non poter ruotare velocemente le manopole per passare da una posizione a quella opposta, ma forse è proprio il suo maggio pregio, perchè questo aiuta a rallentare e pensare maggiormente a quello che si deve fare.Consigliatissimo per chi fa fotografia "senza fretta" e ha piacere di comporre con cura le proprie inquadrature.

The media could not be loaded. Cette tête est vraiment idéale pour la photographie de paysage, d'architecture ou immobilière.Les réglages sont très précis et la rotation panoramique très fluide. Le fait qu'elle soit compatible avec le système Arca-Swiss est un plus. Son faible poids et sa taille mesurée ne sont pas négligeables.Puisque je parle de cette marque (Arca-Swiss), il fait le même travail qu'une tête Arca-Swiss D4 pour 3 à 4 fois moins cher.Je ne connaissais pas la marque Sunwayfoto. Elle mérite qu'on s'y intéresse.
