Not what I expected from a well known company - Hanes. The gym shorts are true to size fit well and the draw string comes in handy. The only drawback to these gym shorts is that the pockets are too shallow. If you put keys or valuables in these pockets, use will surely lose them while exercising. Hanes should add buttons or lengthen the pocket depth.

Super thin & lightweight with rough cotton feel. See through if you bend over. Expected quality for the price. If you want a high end cotton shorts you’ll have to pay for that. If you want something simple and lightweight cotton for running and work outs these are great.

I'll compare to the other Hanes shorts that look almost identical in the app. I have worn the other ones for over a year, so they have been washed/dried a lot. These are cheaper, athletic fit not loose fit, darker in color, seemingly more transparent against a light. The other ones being loose fit can result in being exposed through the leg hole. Maybe the loose fit helps the other ones give a bit more gray sweatpants effect

When you see or hear the name Hanes you typically feel secure in your purchase. I didn't. I usually buy the soffe brand shorts , the Hanes shorts are thinner, shallow pockets and I bought the same size I normally do. The Hanes shorts were very loose and the elastic was almost nonexistent, like shorts you've had for a long time and the elastic looses its stretch, yeah just like that. Will certainly not purchase them again and will think twice when I see the Hanes brand, its unfortunate. Yes only my opinion.

Overall, solid everyday comfort shorts that win on price and chill-factor, not fashion points. -second pair as first one didn’t fit as expected.

Very comfortable 100% cotton shorts good for around the house or exercise. They are a little bit long and baggy but I really do like them.

Bought as nightwear so cotton was important so many others are all polyester. Quite a baggy fit but waist elastic is good & drawstring option is there or can be tucked right away in waistband. At that price will buy another pair soon.
