Great to prevent scorching from my laser!
i use this masking on almost everything i cut on my laser. It has the perfect amount of "stick". My projects come out without any scorching. The roll lasts me a long time.

Works well
I put it on a towel rod for easy unrolling and applying, No issues. cut the paper don't tear it. I use this to mask acrylic for laser cutting, leaves a little residue when peeled off around etchings edges but nothing that doesnt clean off easy.

Love hate relationship .
I use this on birch wood when I'm using to engrave with laser. Product works good to keep the burn off BUT I have WASTED so much freaking tape because it'll tear down the middle and then trying to get an area that isn't torn to get a straight piece is infuriating!!! Also getting it started brand new is a pain in the rear end because a small piece would tear on the very edge causing a big mess.

It works!!
This transfer tape works great. I read the reviews where many said the tape rips easily, but you have to apply it on the wood (for laser cuts) slowly and peel it with ease. No problems! I will buy this again!

It may be old and just simply unusable.
I am unable to unrol without constant ripping. Amazon says I can't return it. It rip while unrolling from the edges and the middle. It would probably take me 10 minutes to get a solid foot of material off of this. Im guessing its just really old and stuck together.

Easy to use for vinyl stencils
I use this for transferring vinyl stencils. It's nice to be able to rip off the size I need. One less thing to have to cut with a blade. If you are using this for stencils, I would recommend getting rid of some of the adhesion first. I just stick it to what ever pants I'm wearing once or twice. It's fine if there is fuzz stuck to it. It was tricky to remove the stencils at full tackiness.

Transfer tape CRAP
You can't get this stuff to pull off a full sheet without tearing at either end. I pick the ends off carefully, line it up and start pulling again and it tears again. It's frustrating and USELESS! ITS A WASTE OF MONEY. Back to my 3M! I gave it 3 stars instead of 1, because I do like the thin low tack on my basswood.. IF I can get a sheet off. So far I've used it onscraps.Another note to mention, the picture shows 4 smoothing tools, you get 1.It did arrive on time
