iRobot Roomba 620 Vacuum Cleaning Robot

I recently bought my Roomba 620. It is the best thing I have purchased in a long time as it has made the biggest difference in my life! I happen to have a straight Saxony carpet, you know, the kind that shows every footprint and vacuum mark! The carpet is only 1 year old and guaranteed to last practically forever so even though it is a love/hate relationship I am pretty much stuck with it. I had a hard time vacuuming as the carpet is very dense which makes the upright vacuum difficult to push. Then I got my Roomba. For one thing, since the Roomba leaves wheel tracks, I can tell that even though it seems totally random, it actually covers every inch of the carpeting. Since it covers all of the carpet, I can only assume it also covers all of the tile. It also has no problem transitioning from tile to carpet.Instead of turning it loose on our open plan house, I shut it in one room at a time and when it has finished, I move it to another. It is easy to make barriers with a rolled up beach towel or such. We live in the desert where dust is an ongoing problem but when the dust is cleaned daily from the floors, there is less dust on the furniture, etc. My entire home is so much cleaner!I had a problem with the dustbin being difficult to open and the little yellow tab broke off after I had the Roomba for only a few weeks. IRobot Customer Service was wonderful and immediately sent me a replacement bin. This one is much easier to open so it’s all good. I recommend this little machine and only wish I had bought one years ago!

I ordered this for a gift for myself, It does work, but it only likes the hardwood floors, it gets hung up if it tries to go up on the area rug..... That is not helpful, I still have to get out my big vacuum for that.

This is the best model you could ever get. My first one purchased is still going after 12 years. The suctioin is great, the wheels durable and it is amazing. The vacuum pulls dust and pet hair out of the carpet. It is easy to maintain by emptying the trash bin after each use. I have one on every level of my home and use almost weekly. It is also great for picking up sand in a beach home.

The battery tab in the roomba was pulled. and the battey was dead an will not charge.

Our vaccuum works unbelievable crazy and does such an amazing job we've always got it running around the house with three dogs.We love ours so much we named it 🤣If this one ever tires and dies of old age I'm going to get another one just like it..

The only reason I gave it a 4 star was some of the things I didn’t understand about a Roomba. Like it is NOT wifi compatible, the inly way to make it go is go push the “clean” button. I had read so many reviews before purchasing that I missed this part. But I still feel it is a GREAT VALUE! Especially for a first Roomba purchase. BE CAREFUL! She will climb over the lip of a plate of cat food (wet) on the floor!

This product has done a good job. Has only got hung up twice and there is a lot that it could get hung up on in our house. It has a strange way of vacuuming but it gets the job done.
