Pic Mosquito Repellent Coils (4 Pack)

I have tried other brands, including Pic, Off, Coleman, & Coghlan's. The Pic brand is by far the best of these products. The Off cost so much more and last about 2 hours less than the Pic. The only thing I preferred about Off was the scent -- it was more pleasant than the Pic. It is certainly not enough of a game-changer to make me even consider spending quite more, and for less burn time. I thought no other brand could be as bad as Coghlan's , but then I tried Coleman. The Coghlan's break if you breath on them, the Coleman break if you look at them. Now, that being said, the Pic occasionally break if you are not careful when taking apart one coil from another; however, if you are careful you can get them apart quite easily with maybe 1 in 25 breaking (vs literally every single one of the Coleman's breaking and more than 50% of the Coghlan's). They're still usable when broken, just have to find a [safe] way to create a holder for them. As for mosquito control, they all seem to be about the same -- Pic just has it over all the others as far as price, durability, and burn time. I can't believe the burn time I get out of them!

I live in a really mosquito infested climate. Not by a marsh or bayou bad but pretty bad. I got these for when I'm outside because spray wasn't working & it left residue on my hands that could get on my face (eyes/ mouth etc). Coils Work surprisingly well. Pros: Cost effective Long lasting Can be snipped when use is finished Can be moved as needed Come with stands (even the 4 pack has 2) Is very incognito (no flame) Cons So incognito there is a danger a person could accidentally burn themselves on the coil. (At least with the stands that come with the package) Doesn't cover a large area Debatable the smell. It's Smoke but hard to describe. I don't mind the smell. I don't think it's strong or unpleasant. Id never describe it as pleasant though. I'd say this is a very cost effective way of covering a small area from mosquitos but be really careful to not get burned.

Worked well, but difficult to split them.... 4units, but in 2 parts that must be split...bet there is a 50-50 chance of breaking one when separating them...I broke one. No big deal, just burn the part till it's gone, light the next one, but didn't really want to have to handle them more than needed

We initially found these at Walmart but they quickly sold out. Arizona has a mosquito problem till the first frost. We spend a great deal of time outside in our back yard reading and enjoying the sunshine. These coils by far are the best way to chase them away. We usually had to run two of them on our patio, one to keep the bugs from the door. Doesn't do much for the flies but we found a way to handle that too. Highly recommend these, we buy them where we can.

Kind of strong smell. Definitely need to be surrounded by it for it to work. On days where there is some wind, forget it. It will not work. I got bit. I attract mosquitos and did not work on days with any wind/breeze
