LS2Helmets Horizon Modular Helmet W/SunShield (Matte Black - Medium)

I wanted a modular helmet that I can open the face to talk to people easily at stops. This helmet makes it possible. The best part is the easy slide button activated sun visor, no need to carry another visor for the bright days.The helmet, although on the tight side (I purchased a M) is still somewhat comfortable. I’m hoping the padding will break in as I continue to ride with it. The flip up and down works well. The helmet blocks out the majority of unwanted highway noise. Good value for the money.

Avid Cycles sold this as a Used-Good condition helmet. It is flawless other than slight stiffness in the shade comind down. The helmet came in the same box, with the helmet bag and all tags. I am thrilled with this helmet and with Avid. Note that this helmet runs right. I usually can wear an XL, but ordered a XXL and it fits well. The ear cavities are bigger in this LS2 helmet than on the LS2 Strobe where they are too tight. I am so pleased with Avid, that I will be buying all the moto gear I can from them in the future.

This is the nicest helmet that I have ever owned. I have had a couple HJC’s and a couple non-name brand helmets (so I haven’t owned any top end helmets), but this this one is by far my favorite. It inspires confidence, it is light, it feels premium, and it feels safe! I can’t really ask for more than what this is. I would imagine that a $500 helmet is going to feel even better, but I am extremely happy with this one. I highly recommend this one. I was on the high end of a LG with 23 7/8 head, so I went with an XL. It was still a little snug, but it was broke in after one short ride. I would definitely buy again.

Looks good, love the built in sun shield. Feel solid. Still snug but that is normal after 1 hour of riding! Good ventilation, I am 7 3/8 head and ordered XXL. Will update if opinion change after a few hours of riding.

I am 55 and have rode motorcycles since I was 12. This is the best fitting helmet I have ever owned! I have always used xl to minimize the pressure points but bought a large and fits great. I do wish the visor had multiple positions instead of open or closed. I guess you can't have it all.

I am new to riding (about a year) so I'm hardly an expert on helmets, but I've been wearing this for several months now and can give my impression. Fit seems good although I probably should've gone one size up as it leaves a mark on my forehead and is maybe a touch snug on my jaw, but it doesn't feel uncomfortable at all even so. Wind noise seems pretty good, the pin lock works well, and the mechanicals function well with one exception. The sun visor does not smoothly drop and raise via the switch anymore. I have to manually move it into position both up and down. Other than that, no real complaints.

I tried on one in a shop and these helmets fit my XL head like a glove. Their flip mechanism is solid, lining is nice and snug. Unfortunately, the delivery of my helmet is now delayed by three days. I might or might not receive it. I am not sure who to blame, the seller or Amazon.

The media could not be loaded.  This helmet is so versatile. Convenient in every way a helmet could be. Warm when it's cold out and Cool with the nice vents that open so no sweating and stinking!
