Fast and funny
I stumbled upon the Albert Smith culinary tours of England mysteries via an ad on social media which is unusual as I don't normally pay attention to advertising. In the case of author, Steve Higgs, I'm glad to have paid attention. Albert and his canine sidekick, Rex Harrison, are a delightful pair of sleuths who, not only solve crimes, they do so with common sense and humour. Kudos to Mr. Higgs for infusing his stories with eccentric characters who keep me wanting more and causing me fits of the giggles. I highly recommend this fast and funny series.

Enjoyable
Adorable story and a quick read. The story was great and I wish I could have been a sidekick in real life. I’m looking forward to reading more.

First book of three about an aged former policeman and his faithful dog. Includes a recipe.
This was an amusing story, somewhat simplistic , not really my style, although I did enjoy reading it, fun!
