Hammered Cup Rain Chain

I chose these as my first rain chain purchase and I am very happy with them. They are beautiful and they work really well. The quality is amazing and installation was a breeze. They make me happy every time I see them and they certainly made my ugly gutter that was missing it's down spout look much nicer.

Love the rain chain and for the price the quality is the same as higher priced chains we had seen. We had bought the chain to add as a garden feature when we replaced our gutters. We did not install- the gutter company did the installation so cannot rate on that . It did rain a few days after the chain and gutters were installed so we were lucky to see the results and were pleased.

Purchased these for a new roof and gutter installation and am very pleased I did. They are very well made and gave the front a little pizzazz. Not cheap or thin and worth the extra $ because they will last.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because this has a lot of splashing once a harder rain comes. I admit it is really more my fault as I was trying to save over the more expensive items that were larger. This will be great for a smaller run of gutter and it is light and well made. Just know you may have it overflowing the cups in heavier rain. This doesn’t really matter from a function perspective but if your also wanting an ornamental drain it can get overloaded easier than larger ones. Still good for the right spots though. Especially if you want a light amount of weight hanging.

I bought this rain chain to replace an older one on our back patio that was starting to rust. It's summer in Southern CA, so we likely won't see rain for several months, but I wanted to take care of it before the time comes! This one seems like nice quality, and has a nice weight to it. I chose it because the little buckets are larger than on our previous one - I'm hoping that makes it slightly more functional for actually catching and directing rain from the gutters. My only issue with this rain chain is that the listing clearly shows a V-HOOK with the wings pointed outward. That hook style is the other reason I opted to purchase this chain, because that's exactly what I needed. It arrived with a different style v-hook with extremely long wings, bent inward. I ended up using pliers to completely reshape the hook to work the way I need it to, where you could squeeze it into the opening and let go, so the wings expand and sit inside the rim of the hole in the rain gutter. Not sure why the listing photo depicts something different than what it comes with. We'll see how it handles rain this winter.

Not only does the rain chain channel a low volume area of rain from the roof but it adds a bit of flare at the same time. Cups are large enough to be seen from the street and the hoops have enough “oomf” to make a really nice addition to the front of our houses look. Had ours installed in conjunction with the new gutters and it was easily installed by the employees but it did not reach the ground so had to order the extra 3 feet. My husband and I attached the extension ourselves a week later and it was easy enough to get the right length and add to the previous portion.

My favorite part of the garden. Going on 3 years and it still looks great.

It's pretty good, looks nice, but does splash a fair bit. Best installed far away from a wall or anythign else you don't want to get splashed. It's supplied from a small to medium size roof. I have another type of rainchain elsewhere and that one performs better, but this ones still performs better than others I've had.

Really pleased with this, adds a bit of decor to the garden. Does splash a bit during heavy rainfall, but works fine to direct most of the water away.
