It was perfect...exactly the right size right size, bristles were excellent, and nice weight. Great brush.

This brush is smaller than the one I am replacing, but it works better and does a great job. The bristles are soft and do not scratch. I have short hair, one to two 1/2 inches long.

I like this brush a lot, it's not too big, and the craftsmanship seems nice. Using for head hair, not beard. To all the reviewers who complain about this brush shedding: This is a natural hair brush product, of course some bristles will fall out after manufacturing. I had a few stray bristles floating around in the bag before opening, but this WILL happen on this type of brush. I've noticed no other significant shedding hairs from the brush since initially opening and using. It's a bit soft, could be a smidge stiffer, but that's not the brushes fault - I have thick hair.

Pros --I cannot fault the quality of this brush. It is well made. The handle is longer than most (a big plus for those with large hands, 4-1/4 inches long) and the bristle head has excellent dimensions (3-1/2 long x 1-1/2 wide x 3/4 deep bristle stack).Having tried some beard brushes that were ridiculously small, this might make a good alternative if you seek a soft brush with low penetration.Deal Breaking Cons --I have thinning (male pattern baldness) thin hair and this brush does not have the penetration necessary to easily get down to the scalp. The photos show reasonably spaced bristles and the description claims to be good for even thick hair. This implies the brush has good penetration. It does not. It is not even good for thinning thin hair. The bristles are too tightly packed and far to soft to be effective.So, if you seek a soft brush that glides on top, this is for you. But if you expect a good scalp massage, it is not.I was hoping this would be similar to the pricey Fendrihan Men's Hairbrush Pure Boar Bristle with Real Olivewood Handle, Made in Germany, but it is not.

This brush seems well-built enough... but be aware of what you'll be getting BEFORE you make the decision to order this particular one. As a regular user of "boar hair" brushes, I've always been of the [apparently erroneous] belief that they are all composed of "stiff bristles." Unfortunately, such is not the case with this one: the bristles are hyper-soft, not at all conducive to detangling and instead more geared toward resetting/reshaping, which it seems designed well enough for THAT purpose -- but if you require something stronger and more heavy duty, this will not do it for you.

Perfect at the price.

Great brush, the bristles do tend to come out if you're too rough with it, but overall fantastic if you just need a good, stiff bristle brush. They pack it really full during manufacturing so expect to see quite a few bristles come loose the first few times that you use it, I just rubbed mine against my palm to knock the excess loose and haven't had an issue really since.

Like the feel and it makes my hair shine!
