Loud bell most of the time
Bell is great when it works and loud enough for bike/walking path riding. The ringing portion of the bell can get can dislodged a bit from its normal position if it gets bumped or really strong winds, which causes its separating springs to mute the bell. Just have to double check the bell is positioned properly and it works fine.

Gimmick
These bells may look good but they are a gimmick. I ended up buying 2 given the first one could not be fitted to the handlebars. I gave the benefit of the doubt and bought a second one, the clip for which broke after using the bike once, and the bell was muffled and didn't;t work in any case. Nice idea but badly designed and manufactured.

Bike bell
Sound wasn't great, easy to install but soon fell off the bike during a daily routine trip along a B class road.

Neat but fragile
It's very neat and low profile which is good. It makes a clear ring, although not overly loud, to begin with, but it's extremely fragile as the ringing part is kind of suspended on springs which easily bend out of place with the slightest contact. A couple of months of using my bike and it was bent to the point it didn't ring well, then eventually the ringer fell off.

Every bike needs a bell! Saves shouting !!!
We bought my 16yr old son a new Giant bike, which had no bell. I was lucky and he said he would go for a ride with me. We went out for an hour on roads but both felt tired and chose to take the last bit on a bridleway. My old bike has a terrible looking/sounding bell. But on the last leg we had a family walking on the bridleway 2 adults + 2 children, and I gave a clear, albeit dull, ding on my bell at 100 metres+ (not racing) they looked and gathered a lovely young labrador (which I had not even seen) and waited for us to pass carefully. The need for a bell was obvious. This stylish effective bell is perfect, you may not think you need it, but at some point, somewhere, someone, won't know you are there and a distant 'ding' will alert therm. If you use in good time they won't be startled, and like our encounter, they might wish you a good ride... This bell is perfect, and so much better sounding, and looking, than the bell that came with my bike.

has a lovely sonorous ring tone
Was a bit fiddly to fit.Nice sounding bell. Very discreet on the handle-bar. I knocked the pinger out of alignment in the early days, I didn't see what had gone wrong and it wouldn't work properly until I realised what the problem was.
