Nice
Always had good luck with Porter Cable tools. Bought this to replace a 20 year old unit. This gun is light, svelte and works perfectly. Looking forward to handing this one down to my grandkids.

Mine did not come with safety glasses as is stated in the "What's included"
As stated above, mine did not come with safety glasses, which is not a bid deal. The only reason I ''had'' to buy this one is my older version is leaking air, everywhere!! And I found out it would probably cost more to repair it, than to buy a new one, and, I did just that. However, and it's a pretty big however, even though I gave it 4 stars, it's definitely not built like my older one. It's more difficult to use, as in feeding nails into it, and the pullback tension mechanism doesn't lock to the back, like the old one. On the new one, nails must be inserted in the rear of the gun, and the old one, they're dropped in from the top. The new one is not as ''user friendly" as the old one!! I hope I don't live to ''regret' another one of my "impulse buys!!"

I had a previous version that failed so I bought this one
I had a previous version of this nailer that I used for 30 years and then it died, so I bought this one. So far it is working well. I DO NOT regret this purchase.

Problem with the slide while loading....
I am having trouble with the 'slide' holding in place while I load the nailer. I have had several Porter Cable air nailers, but never had a problem like this. I can't tell if a piece is missing that would hold the slide in place? I may have to return it unless someone can tell me how to fix the problem.

Best finish gun I've ever used.
Great nailer. Always had good experiences with porter cable 18ga/16ga nailers this one no exception. Has quick release for jammed nails, extra trigger for bump action tho not very safe with the way nails sometimes choose thier own path, and safety lock on the trigger. Pre fitted with air hose fitting, belt hangar, directional exhaust. Love it.

Five Stars
Works well, no issues with it after a year of light use.

Missing items
We did not receive the 1000 x 2 inch finishing nails, the safety glasses nor the 1/4 inch fitting.

parts
I can't seem to get parts fast enough to use this tool. I'm going on amazon again to order a rebuild kit .I just put a second trigger plunger in only to have the nail piston plastic o ring fail and jam the piston. So far I have owned this tool for ten months and have driven seven nails. This will be the last Porter Cable tool I buy.
