I am very happy with this rolling pin. It gives me accuracy and consistency when I bake, which is important for recipes that require even thickness and uniformity. It fits perfectly in my le cruset utensil holder and it is easy to store under the counter. I chose the 17 inch model because I bake a lot of cinnamon rolls and it can cover the entire dough sheet. It also works well for other types of dough, such as my bacon cheddar jalapeno biscuits. With this rolling pin, I can use a trifold technique to create layers of flakiness that are delicious and impressive. The rolling pin is very sturdy and the rubber spacer rings are durable and easy to adjust. It is also super easy to clean and maintain. I love this rolling pin and my family does too, because they enjoy the results of my improved cooking and baking. I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves baking.p.s. yes that is sourdough starter you see in one of the photos, so we will be utilizing this rolling pin more often in the near future!

It is just what you see in the add. It is the perfect length, the rings are easy to insert and remain in place.There is recommendation to cure it. I did not do anything of the sort. I washed it and it dries really fast.I use it to make pita bread from scratch which requires that the circles of dough are a specific thickness so the dough balloons when you bake it to form the "pocket" and it worked wonderfully. I didn't even have to rub the pin with flour before rolling out the pita circles. A quick rinse afterwards to both rubber rings and the rolling pin and ready for the next use.The rolling pin is the perfect length for me (I purchased the longer one) and it is not heavy, just perfect.I debated over several types of rolling pins with adjustable rings and opted for this one because it is absolutely the easiest to clean. No nooks and crannies for bits of dough to get stuck into, etc.I store the rings in a small zippered plastic bag. The different size rings are very easy to spot. You can just see the different sizes right away and I have cataracts and retina wrinkles on my left eye.

I bought this rolling pin because of the longer length and it was on sale. I haven't used it yet but it appears to be made of sturdy solid wood. The Silicone spacing bands are thick and fit snugly on the roller.The packaging is flimsy and the box mine came in had been torn open and taped shut. The silicone bands are just loose in the box with a "thank you for your purchase notice". Would have been nice to have some use and care instructions in the box. Thankfully I had read the description on Amazon and seen that I am supposed to oil it a few times before use. Wouldn't have known that otherwise. I think it would be better to put that info inside that actual package. The silicone bands are stamped with the company name in large easy to read letters but the band size is stamped in the tiniest font I've ever seen so it's almost not readable.You can tell the size by comparing the bands to each other but having it stamped on each band in readable font would have been better. These minor issues are why I gave 4 stars and not 5.If I discover anything that causes me to change my rating after I've had a chance to use it, I'll post an update.

I like how practical this roller is. It is easy to use and clean up. The results are just what I hoped for. Recommend.

Made of good quality wood, and the spacers are rubber and fit tightly. Simple and it works.

There are a lot of rolling pins out there on the market right now and I felt like I researched all of them. after getting really confused with my online research I asked friends and family what the most important part of a rolling pin would be. The top answers were; has to be solid wood, easy to clean and oil, a length that will fit in your drawer. Armed with my new knowledge I set out to find the perfect rolling pin. I stumbled upon this one and I have to say that it fits all of the criteria of my friends and family. It is a little hard to get used to when you're used to rolling pins with handles but it's super easy to clean because it doesn't have handles and once you get used to it, you find you have more control. Out of the box it did come out a little bit dry, so I did oil it pretty thoroughly before my first use. The rolling pin also markets itself is thicker than most, I can't speak to the thickness as this is my first rolling pin but I can say that using this rolling pin is very easy. Whether that's because of the thickness I am not sure. Lastly, because it comes with rings that help you with thickness of dough (which is a super cool feature by the way) I love the fact that it's a straight rolling pin and not a French rolling pin which is thicker in the middle than on the sides. Most others that I saw when looking for this one had some type of screw in rings and that just looked like a nightmare to clean. These rings come right off and you can clean them or even throw them in the dishwasher. All in all I would say this rolling pin is a great rolling pin for the price.

I love this roller! I use it for rolling out clay for ceramics, and I love it cause the wood isn't treat it. I will get another one for my baking and will treat it with food safe Tung oil to keep it from molding.I definitely recommend it.I hope the rings keep their elasticity for a long time.

So I just received this rolling pin and this review is just based on the pin itself. The rings do not have markings on them as to what size they are. Would have preferred the measurements be given in fractions instead of mm. There were no instructions with this item as to care and maintenance, I had to log back into the store and re read the description. Not a great presentation to start off.
