SmallRig 15mm Carbon Fiber Rods 6''1872

A solid set of 6 inch rods that comes in really handy for your rig. I've got mines set up in front of my camera rig, to support my focus puller.

While my review headline can be said about all SmallRig products, it's really the little things that help... like all the little parts of building a rig that can eventually break your bank. These are just as functional as bigger brand name rods... and a bit snazzier looking with that weave look. You do what you gotta do to build a rig and SmallRig makes it easy to create a quality rig with a low budget. I appreciate the options in length, as the GH5 half cage doesn't allow a rod to fully pass through its small baseplate. 6 inches is perfect for a medium DSLR-sized lens with follow focus and matte box. Boom, fancy looking rig!

I bought a mini follow focus but the rod that came with it was a bit too short. I looked for the next one up and this 6 inch one was just right. I was worried it wouldn't fit since that's what the reviews said but i went ahead and ordered it anyway and guess what? If fits just fine. Zero problems so far. It's lighter than the aluminum one and feels pretty sturdy. Will update if there are any issues.

This particular set or item came with manufacture defection. One of the two fits the 15mm hole or circumference and the other one cannot fit. Seller didn't have any issue reimbursing my money. The thing that impressed me the most is that the seller went out of her way to resend me another set for free not only because she wants me to have the utmost satisfaction, but also because she knew this product defection was one in a million. I too know that a manufacture defect can occur once in a blue moon and I was not blaming the seller especially if the company was willing to correct the error. The new set that they sent me works like a charm and I am happy with it. I'll buy again in the future.

I was looking for a sturdy and lightweight option for my 15mm rail support system and these rods fit the bill perfectly. They're easy to install and make a big difference in the stability of my rig. Highly recommend!
