Excellent product to de-clutter living room
Make sure to paste the ir emitter (the smaller oval module) on the correct location of set top box. Ideally we want it to be closest to STB's IR receiver. This can be a bit tricky as STBs have dark colored IR filter plastic in front. Usually it is near indicator LEDs. (I used a torch to see through thd dark plastic to locate correct location of receiver on STB's pcb)Also make sure the orientation of IR receiver is correct (curved surface should be vertically jn front of us).IR receiver (the large oval module) has reasonable horizontal operating angle (90 degrees).I could not test the range as I have a very small living room. There is no lag/hang/signal corruption problem so far. Adhesion of the pads is also good. My living room looks a lot neater now!

Works greatly even after extending the cable to 15 meter
Its a good product but the receiver signal can only reach a meter. The cable length is only 1.5m. So I had to cut & extend the receiver end with a 15m cable to use it from other room. I actually thought it won't work because of too long cable. But it works flawlessly.

Very useful and awesome device. Works fine.
My Ac original ir receiver is always behind my bed so I had to put the remote in beds backside and operate but with this the difficulty is instantly resolved.

Five Star Product and Excellent Service
I'm using this Infrared Remote Extender to control the volume on my JBL soundbar when I'm not sitting in direct view of it.My TV has a wall mount that allows me to move the TV to watch it from the sitting area or from the dining area.When viewing from the dining area I could not remotely control the soundbar because the soundbar is fixed to the wall and it was still pointing towards the sitting area.Problem solved!This is all I had to do to make the remote control work from seating and from dining.1. Plug the USB into the soundbar2. Place the larger IR unit in sight of the dining area where I'm controlling the soundbar from3. Place the tiny IR unit near the soundbar.That's all!It really is that easy!Highly recommended, and great service from the seller too!
