Not what I was expecting. It felt tacky like the paint was still drying. It was very big, bulky and heavier than I thought it would be. Clumsy side parts that come out. My partner didn't even want to try it. I had to pay to ship it back for a refund and it cost me $56!!! Not happy about that, read the fine print people.

I like this a lot. It is way too big for my normal apartment sized tub (US), so definitely measure before you buy. And do not gift this to someone unless you know they have a wide tub.However, thanks to its adjustable legs, I have used it on the couch, in bed, even in an outdoor kiddie pool! It is well made - no chipped paint or damaged wood. It didn't have a weird smell upon unboxing (really no smell at all). I don't think it would stand up to being immersed in water or splashed a lot (it isn't waterproof after all, and some hardware is metal). I suggest wiping it dry after use.My biggest complaint is that, although you can adjust the width (good), you cannot lock it in place, so you constantly have to worry about it widening or shortening - especially if you're carrying it like a tray. For example, I would NOT trust it to carry in breakfast, juice, coffee, etc as "breakfast in bed delivery" - put the tray on the bed first and then put the food on it.All caddies seem to be designed like this, but in my opinion it decreases the versatility and stability.

This is very sturdy and because it's bamboo I know it will not be damaged if I get it wet. I was impressed with the way it expands to fit the with of my bathtub. The holders on the sides are useful for all the goodies I bring to the tub with me. The ipad holder in the middle works perfect. The extra pillow was an unexpected delight. In the morning I was able to enjoy breakfast in bed. Then I found out how easy it was to control the height of the table by loosening the screws. I'm very impressed with the quality and all the extras features. I will use it regularly.
