mame skimmer 3 protein skimmer

I have this little gem in an EVO13.5 and an Abyss IM 20 gallon. Simple to set up (even if you don't know Japanese) pictures are, well, perfect! I accidentally broke the piece that holds the glass tube in the filtration area and was wondering if anyone might know where to get a replacement part??

Wonderful and attractive skimmer. It does an outstanding job in my Fluvel Spec V nano reef tank. Plan on getting a pipe cleaner to perform routine cleaning.

I was hesitated to buy due to the high price at the first place. But this product sure make the money worth. Make my nano tank water crystal clean in a day. Amazing what a great job it does

Excellent Skimmer. Instructions are solid Japanese, but follow the diagrams and you should be fine. Makes the tank look amazing!

This skimmer produces a good bunch of fine bubbles that results in a medium dark tea coloured skimmate. If you are looking for a thick foam with super DARK skimmate, don't bother. However, that said, it is awesome for the size it comes in. It got's the job done as long as you keep up with water changes.The wooden air stone wears out pretty quick so do get some replacements on hand. I change mine every 2 months or so. The glass is fragile so dont use too much pressure when cleaning. Use a soft bristle toothbrush to clean the insides under running water.The return tube where the skimmate travels through clogs up eventually which WILL mess with your skimmer's ability to function. So you must find a way to clean the tube. I usually force some water inside and blow with my mouth to shoot all the gunk out.

Awesome for nano tanks. Just get a quiet air pump and it works great. To extend life of air stone you can scrape off the sides when dry and works well for another month or so.

Great skimmer, Just needs a powerful air pump. I would highly recommend.
