If you study the Bible and want an accurate translation that also gives a explanation of difficult verse at bottom of page. Translated from Greek, Latin, and arimaic sources. I've bought for friends I like this so much. Not affiliated with any church just done right. Easy to read and every verse explained, all verses. All of them. My go to. I wish I had this 50 years ago. Recommended highly.

First of all, the page layouts are amazing. The Bible is well-made and sturdy which I wanted. Inside, the pages are thin, but not so thin I could see the bleed through page. Pages have a great size font even for those of us who need a slightly larger print to keep from eye strain. Easy read and the page formatting keeps it all from being distracting. The Bible verse sections are clearly distinct from the lower commentary section. I like the intro to each book. The charts, maps, and the back full of all sorts of lists and index work. A treasure trove that will bring out significant details that I might not think about as I read through or choose study topics.Recommend!

This Bible is absolutely beautiful. The commentary is so in depth, literally covering more verses of the Bible than any I’ve owned or seen before and John MacArthur’s wisdom throughout is so enriching and edifying. Well - it’s such a great translation and commentary that my husband purchased one for himself after seeing mine and the vast difference between the one he had and this one. LOVE this Bible and how it goes so in-depth teaching us more and more about The Word of God! I wish I could give it 10 stars.

The notes help you understand verses that you need a deeper dive. A must have for someone who wants to grow in their faith.

Although I don't agree on his rapture-eschatalogical beliefs; I gleam plenty from his commentary. We do agree on Premillennialism, which MacArthur is a staunch supporter of God's future redemption plan of Israel.

I was not all that familiar with the Author and General Editor, John MacArthur. But I have to say this ranks in the top three of the study Bibles that I have owned in my 40+ years of being a dedicated student of the Scriptures!

Great product. I have the original NKJV version and ordered this for the new version updates. Great updates, glad I got it.
